It was two girls in they mid twenties and they seem terrified, looking about this side and that side and totally forgot about me until I huffed in there head and they turned their big brown doe eyes to me and I saw tears brimming which made me uncomfortable because I don't know what to do when someone needs comfort and is crying. "We see you... go back from where you came" I frowned and was about to ask them why but I felt them being pulled so I let them go as I don't want any trouble or dealings with the Droughts and especially not with any guardian's. I sigh because I am fully awake now... I get up and put on my robe and slowly open my door and try to make minimum noise whilst I make my way to the kitchen but as I pass the balcony on the way to the stairs, I see the light on and I wonder if the guys are still there and why so late? Or early? Do vampires not need sleep? I tip toe and try to eavesdrop "I doubt he would give up the challenge but he is irritated by Daniel's need to prove himself capable" it is them! "Daniel should not have challenged him though because he is hurt and even if he wasn't, he never won a fight with Varian, he'll Varian has never losses!" I gasped because they where talking about underground fighting! I smilled because I know know my link to the underground ring... I don't want to get caught by them and get into their bad books so I leave but I know have a goal now. I drink juice that I found in the fridge and looked for any snacks and found tinkies and took two and slowly went back to bed and tried to sleep but my mind is abuzz with excitement and plans on how to get onto their good side and ask them to train me, should I be real and tell them the real reason? Urge I need to sleep because my first day is tomorrow and I don't want to sleep in class and make a bad first day impression.
My alarm came on and I jolted awake with my heart beating fast and my mind half asleep wishing to just fall unconscious again but with my damn alarm ringing and possibly waking or irritating the others, I had to get up and out of bed to put the alarm off. I am freezing and want to run into bed again but I have to get ready for school... can't I miss school today? I rushed to the bathroom and found new toothbrushes, luckily and got to it. As I came out of the dressing room, I saw a ghost of another girl with puncture wounds on her neck with bruising so I know she was drained of her blood by a vampire and that she is here either means that this is where she died or somewhere close. I had no time to investigate although I am quite curious so I rushed past her and jogged to my room and paused because I don't know what to do now, I finish get ready and there is nothing for me to pack and it is not yet seven... I should see if they have breakfast here or at school. I walked downstairs but saw no one and the kitchen is empty as well so I went to Madame Sarina in her office and she is here "morning... " "good morning" "urm I was just wondering about breakfast, if we have it here or at school?" "oh you have it at school at assembly" I nodded then left to go back to my room but on my way I saw a shadow and sighed in annoyance, not even a full day here and I am surrounded by ghosts. I bumped into Tanisha and she took me to her room and I sat on her bed "so everyone will be watching your every move as the new girl so as a warning, don't be overwhelmed-" turns out we didn't have much time as her alarm blasted and I was tempted to ask if my alarm early in the morning disturbed her but refrained because we were in a rush and I didn't want to get into that. We met up with her sister who I forgot the name off, that happens quite a lot and made our way to a bus stop? Yup and mere minutes after we came, the but arrived and we hopped on and I saw that we were the only ones but didn't think anything of it as I thought that we will pick up others but as we passed flats and houses, I began to wonder but did not feel confident to break their conversation to ask a stupid question when they seem to be in a deep stressful conversation.
