I was trying to think who would be worse to face when the decision was made for me, one of the guys that stay at the apartment saw me and waved and called the other guy and that is how I got surrounded by the group "so... now that you not tired and drunk, why don't you tell us about your friend Jake?" Oh gosh I totally forgot about last night, now it all came back, I closed the door on them! "All you need to know is that he is a friend and not a threat, in fact I don't think any of you will be seeing him again..." I saw Brad frowning and looking between the guys and I "Draco, how do you know new girl over here?" Drago looked to Brad and explained that I stay in their apartment to which Brad nodded "your friend is a werewolf but something was off about him so I'll ask one more time, who is your friend and how was he able to be here? Or would you like me to query it with the principal or Master Craven?" My heart was beating furiously fast and I was quite sure I was shaking and all I wanted was to leave but somehow, I don't think they'll allow me. Maybe I can get something in return, after all I would be telling them what I am, so I should get something out of it "ok I'll tell you whatever you'll want to know but in exchange, you'll teach me how to fight" I saw them look at each other and I think talking to each other mind to mind? Than Brad smiled and nodded, so I guess that means he is the leader "you have a deal and we vampires make deals differently so we will meet at the main cafeteria after school to sign on it" they were leaving and I was panicking because it seemed I did something wrong, that I did not understand and it seems too late to change my mind. The bell rang and I panicked for a whole other reason because I don't know where I will sit or by who etc and if I don't calm down, I'm going to collapse and make my embarrassment worse, I got up on wobbly feet and walked but somehow I had to concintrate to walk right while only hearing the sound of my beating heart like a drum that echoes. When I got to the assembly, I avoided looking at Tanisha and friends as well as Brad and friends and tried to find any empty places or those friendly enough to invite me, but I was hoping to be on my own, many avoided looking but some were openly staring. At the end, I couldn't find any empty place and no one invited me so I just stood at the side and hoped assembly went by fast.
At registration, I was called upon by the principal and again I was freaking out, how can my heart survive the strain put on it each time? It seems like every time it calms down after a breakdown, another breakdown starts. I was at the door and I didn't know whether to just go in or knock when the door opened by a student so I followed her to see other students. Are we in trouble? There were seven in total, three guys and four girls, I took the available seat and waited for the principle but did not introduce myself as none of them tried to either. It was just becoming unbearable, when the principal finally arrived took a seat by us rather than behind the desk "Foroshea, these students will help you pass each subject, it will not be the board set exams that you would write as you came too late but exams set by the teachers who will give these students the necessary tasks to teach you so they will learn as well or get extra marks" I nodded and I now wished that I at least greeted them, it's too late now. The way the principal looked at them when he was explaining so they will learn or get extra marks make me think that they are not good students, or at least not all of them. "Guys, this is the new student I told you about, Foroshea, she knows nothing so remember what I said, no games... now I will leave you'll to get to know one another and plan a timetable and stick to it, you can all go home and plan if you'll want but don't miss any other day" they all got up so I followed them out the office. They all seemed to know where to go and I saw them sneaking glances at me but I just kept my head down.
