Inuyasha

- he's the only one who can wield the sword of destruction or the Guardian Tetsusaiga

Sesshomaru
- Demon Lord of the Western Lands
- Inuyasha's older brother
- he wields the Tenseiga, the sword of heavens or the sword of life and the Bakusaiga, his own sword with a destructive power after he regained his arm

Kagome
- Kikyo's reincarnation
- Inuyasha's girlfriend
- she's only a high school student from the modern era. Being Kikyo's reincarnation, she's the only one who can see the jewel shards of the Sacred Jewel from the demons

Miroku
- a flirtatious monk
- Sango's meant-to-be
- Naraku cursed him by putting a wind tunnel in his hand. It's useful to suck the demons in and take it to the netherworld, but it can also be very dangerous if he holds it too long

Sango
- a talented demon slayer
- Miroku's meant-to-be
- her family was killed by Naraku and lost her only brother Kohaku because of Naraku controls him with the use of the jewel shard.

Shippo
- a young kitsune/fox demon
- he met Inuyasha and Kagome when they fight the Thunder brothers who killed his father

Kilala
- Sango's cat demon

Rin
- Sesshomaru's young companion
- she's fun, annoying and lovable
- Sesshomaru treat her like his own daughter more than a friend
- she gives Sesshomaru a tender love and compassion to change his hatred towards humans

Jaken
- Sesshomaru's loyal imp servant
- hates Inuyasha a lot
- if he annoys Sesshomaru or makes Inuyasha mad, he get one to three bumps on his head

Totosai

- a flea demon
- loyal advisor of Inu No Taisho, Sesshomaru and Inuyasha's father
- always gives important details to his young master Inuyasha if he face the demon enemy
- loves sucking blood

Ayamara
- she's a dragon demon from the Northern Lands
- Layumaru's younger sister
- she's fun, energetic, fearless, kind,  stubborn and annoying. She finds time to tease Jaken or plays Inuyasha's ears if she's bored.
- she can turn into her dragon form if the enemy makes her really mad.
- she had two weapons, dragon staff and a sword which look likes Sesshomaru's first sword, Tokijin.

Layumaru
- he's also a dragon demon from the Northern Lands
- Ayamara's older brother
- he had Sesshomaru's personality, cold and serious. With a bit of Inuyasha's personality, fun, stubborn and fearless.
- he can also turn into his real form like Ayamara.
- he had a sword as big as the Tessaiga

Uryomaru
- Naraku's reincarnation
- hates other demons like Sesshomaru
- likes making fun on other demons and humans
- like Naraku, he hates humans mainly Kagome and Rin

Jiamara
- she's a blue phoenix demon from the Southern Lands
- Parskamaru's younger sister
- she is one of Sesshomaru's allies 50 years ago and she got separated from him after a great battle 100 years ago
- she can transform into her real form
- she's fun, serious, annoying, stubborn, beautiful, smart and sneaky. She finds time by playing Inuyasha's ears or playing rock-paper-scissors with Shippo to enjoy herself

Parskamaru
- he's a blue phoenix demon from the Southern Lands.
- Jiamara's older brother
- he's one of the captured demons 60 years ago and prisoned in Naraku's castle with Layumaru
- he can also transform into his real form
- unlike his sister, he had both Sesshomaru's personality: cold and serious and Inuyasha's personality: stubborn, fearless and hard-headed
