chapter 6

Justin's POV

Just as the alarm clock went off, I stood up to turn it off. It was annoying. Since I was up, I decided to just head to the restroom and fix myself. I was a mess.

I fixed my hair into the usual pony tail, washed my face and brushed my teeth. I was the first one up. Non of them was even woke up from the sound of the alarm clock.

I am the tallest among the 5 and is the 2nd oldest. I dont have any tragic past like Maria. I just simply live with my parents.

Today, October 5, is our 3rd day of our sleep over and tommorow is our last. How sad. But we did had fun. For the meantime, I'll just go to our group chat instead and see if Jill's active. Come to think of it, she hasn't been active on the past few days. She's never like that. Unless of course theres no internet there in singapore.

She's currently staying at her fathers house. At least thats what she told us. But if she's here, how was she able to communicate with her father? Except when her father uses Mobile data. But she could ask for a personal hotspot. She hates it when theres no internet.

But I shoulnt be worrying about that. Im sure she's doing pretty well.

I sat on where I slept wich was on the floor and watched some K-drama.(sorry about this for those who hate k-drama😊)

A few minutes after, While watching K-drama, I felt a strong sensation that someone was watching me. I didnt mind at all because I thought that it was just my mind playing tricks. Another few minutes passed, I really want to look but I was too scared. What if I see something like a ghost. I assumed that everyone was still asleep.

The next thing I know is that I heard a thud at my back. I wanted to look but I froze in fear. I wasnt even focused on the show anymore. My mind was blank. I didnt know what to do. I felt it. Some ones at my back. Its near me.

I felt it slowly leaning closer to my right shoulder. My heart was beating so fast I didnt know what to do. What if it was a ghost. A killer maybe.

Then, it was so close that I could hear it's breath. Only to find out that it was Maria.........

I was relieved. What a jerk I am.

Her hair was a complete mess. So I told her to fix herself first. She came out the restroom all dressed. "Goin somewhere?" I asked, trying to catch up on what I've missed on the show. "The store." She replied while wearing her shoes. "Wait there. I'll tag along." I added, putting my cellphone on the table and started changing my clothes once I was at the restroom.

After doing so, we went out. We walked along the sidewalk with Maria fixated on her phone leaving us with nothing but silence. I was wondering if there was even a store around nearby. "Say, is there even a store nearby?" With a blank expression, she replied. "If there wasnt, then where would I be going?". "You have a point".

That was out only conversation on our way to the store. We were walking there with our mouths completly shut. Not a subject to disscuss. Suddenly, we heard someone calling for us and perhaps, running towards us. We looked back and saw Ruth and Mechaila.

We stopped for awhile for them to catch up until they finaly did. We continued walking after they catched their breaths. On our way there, me, mika and ruth talked alot while Maria was still on her phone.

When we arrived, Ruth and Mika were speachless. Maria stopped using her phone and looked at the both of them. "Whats gotten into you two?" She asked, walking inside the store. The two of them looked at each other for a moment and walked inside as well as if nothing happend.

They raomed around the mini store, following maria around. I did to but I noticed that they kept an eye on someone they've seen before. Because I wanted to know whats going on, the simplest way is to just ask them. "What the hell are you two looking at?". They both looked at me and Mika pointed at the guy who was about to leave the store.

"Thats him. The guy we saw with Jill last time. The one we said that we think she had a date with." I looked at the guy and saw one side of his face. He looked like a forigner. Not from our country at least. Once he left the store, both of them were releived. They came out from their hiding and acted as if nothing happend.

I was shocked. The face of that man was so familiar. I know I've seen him before. Those thoughts were snapped out when Maria called us since she was already done buying the stuff she needs. With all the distraction, I forgot that she was even here. I ran up to them and we silently walked back to Mechaila's Dorm where we are currently holding our sleep over.

Maria: ya'll pretty silent at the moment...

Mika: we ask the same. Why arent you using your phone?

Maria: I wasnt asking you trash brained bitch.

Mika: oh maybe your the bitch around here.

Maria: its not my problem is it?!

Ruth: just shut up will you.

They responded with an annoyed face but stayed silent until we reached Mika's Room. I was pretty quiet myself. I was bothered by the fact that guys face we've seen earlier was so familiar. The room was so silent since there was no topic to bring. Not until Maria stated a question.

"I know you've all seen something at the store today. Mind telling me what you three saw?"

"The guy we saw earlier at the store. The guy that looked like a forigner. He was the one we saw with Jill at the coffee shop. The one we said that we think Jill's dating with." Because of Ruth's statement, Maria giggled at us. We we're confused then and there. She asked us if that guy really looked familiar to us and we all agreed.

It was to much to be a coinsedence. Then again, because of our answers, she laughed. "Cant you recall his face from before?" She asked again and the more her questions are unasnwered, the more she laughs.I was wondering why she was laughing. Like seriously. Theres nothing funny going around.

"I'll give you time to guess around. I know you've seen him before. I bet you've even met him already." Maria gave another statement wich gave us a pain in the head. That feeling when you forget something you know so well and then you try to really remember it. Its such a pain in the head.

"So you also know him?" I threw a question at Maria since I was curious; how does she know that we've met him before?. "I could say that I do..." she said while chuckling. "I'm sure you'll remember. Just think harder." After her last statement, she stood up and took a drink from the table. It was White coffee in a can. She oppened it and started drinking, waiting for us to get an answer.

She sat on the chair next to the table facing us while holding her drink on her right hand. Our heads were aching. We couldnt remember. We looked at her blankly.

She sipped her coffee and finaly spoke.

"You guys are total Idiots... that guy was Jill's brother you dumbasses..."
