Chapter 4 Part 7 - Friendzoned

Key was standing beside the door. He's smiling at me, as if he's fine and nothing happened to him. He waved his hand towards us.

I can't believe he could act like he was okay. But, why? What was his motive?

I know deep inside that he wasn't okay. He might not show it through his actions, but I was sure as hell that I could see it through his innocent eyes that he wasn't.

Sulli: Key...

Minho: Key, you should be resting.

Key: Yeah, you're right. I should rest, but is it about time I wake up and not rest? It's been 24 hours since I last stood up from the bed.

Minho: Does anyone know about this?

Key: Well..

Minho: I should've known.

Key: What? It's really boring there, so I snuck out of the room.

Minho: You're so stubborn.

Key: No, I'm not. I just wanted know if Sulli's doing well.. so I went here.

Minho: Well, how would you know that she was here?

Key: Look, Minho. I may be the one who's hospitalized and got stabbed countless times..

Minho: 14.

Key: Yeah, whatever. I didn't know that. Well, I wouldn't wake up, but I was really sure that my ears are not. For the past 24 hours, I know that my ears are still functioning. I tried waking up, but I couldn't. I was surprised to see myself walking here, to be honest. And, hey. Could I get a little warm greeting around here? I walked here because I know someone would be happy to see me, but I guess I'm wrong.

He looked at me with his serious eyes.

Seriously? What? I never seen this side of him.

He was known as the silent type of guy in this group. The most cutest, nicest guy in SHINee. But to me, he's just a normal person. My childhood friend. The kid who once said that he would never leave me by my side, but he did a few years ago. And now, our paths crossed again, and we are now facing each other. He changed alot since he became a member of a new group and family.

Sulli: Of course, who wouldn't want to see you so.. alive?

Key: Haha, very funny.

Now, he's mocking me.

Sulli: Why can't you just rest in your bed? It isn't good for you to stand and walk.

Key: But I'm bored.

Sulli: Kid.

Key: I wish I didn't grew up if I knew that being a man would mean getting stabbed 14 times.

He said jokingly.

Sulli: *sigh* You shouldn't joke about that. Key, I saw you. It pains me to see you like that.

I looked at him.

And I was about to cry.

Minho: What? You saw him? What do you mean?

Sulli: Remember when the nurse was stopping me to go inside the operating room?

Minho: Yeah.

Sulli: I saw him in pain.

I'm still looking at Key, whose legs were shaking, like he was going to fall.
