“What do you want from me?” I pleaded. Why was this happening to me?
“Shut up!” Lindsay screamed at me. I still had the cloth over my head but I still recognized her and could picture her in my head. “Phil, find her phone.” She ordered what I guessed was the man next to me because before I knew it a felt big hands feeling everywhere on me and in my pockets. I was hoping he wouldn’t look in my bra because that’s where my phone was.
“I can’t find it.” Phil said with an angered voice. Was smiled to myself and continued to smile as the van light hit me in the eyes when the cloth was removed from my head.
“Where is your phone?” Lindsay said in my face, spitting in my eye. I wiped it away remaining silent. She didn’t like that because she raised her hand and slapped me cross the face.
I let out a wince when your billions of rings scratched my face leaving behind a burning sensation and blood dripping down my cheek.
“I'll ask you again…where is the phone?” once again I remained quiet. She stood up frustrated and kicked me in my side. The feel of her boots hitting me in the side knocked the air out of me and I held my side as I stared up at her. This is a different Lindsay that I’ve ever seen.
“I’m surprised, “I said through a raspy voice. “Usually you have other people fighting your battles.” Her smile went away as she glared at me.
“Well your wrong.” With that she grabbed my shoulder and banged my head against the door. Everything went dizzy and the back of the van started spinning. Once I regained my vision and balance I stared at Lindsay, who was smiling, pleased with giving me pain.
“What have I ever done to you?” I asked her, she seemed to have a blank expression as she looked down.
She started laughing. “I just don’t like you. But this whole thing isn’t about you, I only agreed to help because it meant being able to beat you up a bit.” I looked at her confused as she slapped me again. My whole cheek started to feel hot and I knew all this would leave marks.
“Please stop, what do you want from me.” just then I felt my phone start to vibrate. I was getting a call.
I started to pretend to cough to disguise the sound of the vibration but it didn’t help, Phil felt the vibrating since his arm was around me holding me down. I looked up at him and he smiled. I felt my eyes start to tear up as he reached his hands into my shirt feeling around in my bra and around my breasts to get my phone. It made me feel so dirty and I wanted to run away. The way he smiled at me made me feel sick in my stomach.
He handed the phone to Lindsay before I could figure out who was calling. “Oh look it’s the real reason why you here.” I was still confused when she answered my phone. “Hello Kevin.”
My heart felt like it dropped into my stomach. He called me, what if he was going to apologize. I really wish we didn’t fight, maybe he would have stopped me form seeing Ray. Wait, he definitely would have stopped me. I miss him.
“Lindsay took the phone and hopped out the van, closing the door behind her. I tried to listen to what she was saying but it was too faint. I froze when I felt a hand rubbing on my thigh. I looked up at Phil and the other man as they were in my face, touching me. I started to panic so I started kicking the other guy. He got angry and glared down at me. Then he slapped me in the face. His slap was much different, even though Lindsay had a lot of rings on that scratched up my face, he was stronger, causing more pain. I let out a cry as my head hit back on the van door, causing me to wince at hitting the same spot on the back of my head.
“You do know who I am, right?” the man said. I shook my head as a tear escaped my eye and ran down my cheek.
“I’m Carlos…has Kevin mentioned me?” I thought back to our conversations but couldn’t recall his mentioning him. I shook my head and he let out a deep chuckle making me scoot back. “So your boyfriend has lied to you, not telling him about everything that has happened in the past?”
