I felt like I was panicking. How was this guy, whom I’ve never seen before, in my dream last night? I quickly looked away and hurried to look up the meaning online. There weren’t a lot of people at the computers. As I scanned the few people I stopped at one face, Ray.

I felt as if my gut dropped to the ground. Just seeing him made me want to throw up. He was sitting at a blank computer screen with his hood up sleeping. It wasn’t a surprise to find him here sleeping and not trying to bring up his grades. I don’t even know how he is in football. I started feeling upset so I looked back at my computer.

I typed in dream meanings and I got a bunch of information. Like the fact that there is someone I’ve never seen before means I have things I have to deal with and bring into the light. I found another page on the meaning and as it loaded I stole another glance at the mysterious guy. He was looking down at his paper like before except he was smiling. What was he smiling at?

As I turned to look at my computer Ray was in my face, staring at me. “Hey.” I couldn’t believe he had the nerve to try and talk to me right now. I just looked at him, I didn’t know what to say. “What you have nothing to say? A couple of years ago you were all over me and now you can’t even look me in the eyes.”

I looked over to the librarian to see if she was noticing what was going on. She was reading a book and looked my way a couple of times. When Ray realized I was trying to ignore him he grabbed my arm. “Listen to me! Why won’t you just accept things the way they are? I was a great boyfriend to you.” The librarian looked up and saw him yelling at me. She shushed him and everyone was looking.

“Yeah, until you became an ass-hole.” He was just annoying me now and I just wanted him to leave. His grip tightened and I shook off his hand.  “And I wasn’t “all over you”. I needed your help and you pushed me away.” I turned away trying to give him a hint to go away.

“Hey what happened wasn’t my fault. You came onto me first.” He started laughing and took it as a joke but I was serious.

“Yeah? And that’s why every time we were alone you would pull your dick out?” That made him shut up. He stopped laughing and looked at me.

“Listen that what happened…” He started till I cut him off.

“No.”

He grabbed my arm again a little tighter than before. “Don’t interrupt me!” He could be scary at times but I remembered I dated him for 2 years and he didn’t scare me anymore.

“Well to bad! I don’t want to talk about it. Every time I talk about it just makes things worse. I’m getting my life back together but your friends won’t let it go. I would appreciate it if you would tell them to stop.” He sat down next to me and looked at me. For some reason I felt an instinct to grab my stomach.

“I cant control my friends. They can do what they want. You’ll always be a slut!” I closed my eyes hoping for him to just disappear. When I opened them he was walking away. I then saw him meet Sam and Cam, the twin dickheads. They have been tormenting me since the 6th grade. I don’t know what I did to deserve any of this. Once Ray made it over to them I saw him mouth the same thing he has said since we broke up, “Hoes with be hoes”.

Then I felt the sting in my eyes and knew what was going to happen. I looked back at my computer screen and read the words,

Dream meaning: To want or desire something you have no had. Expect a change in your life.

How much more change do I need. I then looked over to the mysterious kid and he was gone.
