Valerie snorted at Winn's idiotic sentence. "You? A fire blasting noob against Earth's mightiest heroes?"

Winn went dead silent and stared at the brunet. She knew just by the stern look in his eyes he wanted to yell, tell her to shut up and kill her here and there but instead he smirked. "And who are you?" 

"I'm not an Avenger." She confessed, knowing she kind of felt like one since she saw the not murderous side of the team.

"So isn't the Winter Soldier but he is still one of them, isn't he?" He exclaimed with a low voice. He breath in the scent of the cold winter of New York before he straightened his black jacket again. "So, who are you?" He asked once again, this time slower and calmer. She just swallowed not knowing what to answer. Who can answer that kind of question? How do you know you belong in another's family in such a small amount of time?

"She's like Thor, but human and female." Another voice said interrupting the burning silence between the both superhumans. "And a part of the Avengers." he finished. Victoria looked sideways to get a small glimpse of the red shiny suit of Iron Man before he stood next to her, his hand up making his repulsor-beam face directly to Winn's face. "We'll figure out a made-up name later." Tony murmured next to her. Valerie gave him a sideways glance followed by a small amusing smile. 

"Iron man, what a pleasure to meet you in person." 

"Winn Miller isn't it? Yeah, I've read your article of last month in Times. It sucked." He said arrogant, knowing he pissed the fire blasting man off. Even though Tony was underneath his suit, she could see the smirk forming on his lips. 

"Now tell me; how were you going to take down the Avengers?" Valerie quickly said before Winn could say anything else. "Oh no, I was just here for distraction. They told me I could kill you later. The real way of taking the Avengers down is up there." He pointed to a big helicarrier just above the S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters.

"Not only the Avengers, Valerie," he said, ignoring the red suited man next to her. "Everyone who is a thread to HYDRA too." "You're sick." Valerie yelled making the man that used to be Winn, laugh. 

"You made me like this!" He screamed out. He started to fly above her and the trees and as he looked down at her he smiled. "I'll be back for you. For now, you should check on your boyfriend if he isn't turned back to who he was before." He winked devilish and flied off. Valerie dropped her head and bit her lip until she felt the taste of blood on her tongue. "I'm going after that bastard." Tony said as he took off too, flying after the fire blasting superhuman and having a heated fight in the sky.

She didn't have a boyfriend but she knew who Winn meant, the man she grew close to, relates to and fell for. Bucky Barnes, the man with the metal arm.
