Chapter 7- Danielle and Liam Tell The News

It had been three weeks since the incident that night. The next day I had come to school Liam immediately came over to me and kept begging for forgiveness and said sorry as many times as he could before he knew I’d give in. Later on that day Liam ended up telling me what had happened, Louis thought it would be funny if they gave us a little bit of a scare and they texted Niall earlier to get him on the plan and he agreed, and Liam and Dani only went on it because Liam thought it would be funny and Dani just didn’t want to say no, but he knew she wasn’t really comfortable with doing this to me. So I shouldn’t be blaming her, which in truth I never did. Then I ended up forgiving all of them and things went back to normal. 

Me and Harry had grown a lot closer since that night, we were pretty much inseparable, always together day and night. People would tease me and Harry saying we would make a cute couple, I would always just laugh it off. But deep down I knew I was starting to fall for Harry, the only problem I didn’t know if he felt the same way for me. Then there was Niall, we weren’t as close anymore, not that we were before but things just sort of changed when me and Harry were always together, but we still talked and we were usually together when our groups were together. I missed Niall, I wanted to be closer with him, I was hoping things would change sooner or later. 

It was Thursday morning, and I was waiting for Harry to pick me up from my house, Harry usually picked me up in the mornings instead of Dani driving me. I could tell it bothered her because me and her hardly had our girl time anymore, but I could tell at the same time she liked it because she was becoming closer with Liam, I was wondering if things would ever come through with them. I hoped things would.

I looked up to see Harry sitting in his convertible in the drive way waiting for me, I quickly grabbed my bag and ran out the door. “Hey!” I said as I got in. 

“Hello Sammy!” He said cheerfully, “I bought you something,” he picked up the Frappuccino that was beside him. “Here you go, I thought maybe since I was getting my coffee I could get something for you.” 

“Oh my god, its caramel isn’t it? My FAVORITE!”  I took it from him and we started heading off to school, “thanks by the way!” I said. 

“No problem, hey member that kid Zayn I was telling you about a few days ago? That I met in my history?” Harry asked.

“Yup,” I said, “the guy who likes to draw right?” 

Harry nodded, “well he’s having a party Saturday night, and he asked if I wanted to come, and asked me to bring a date.” My heart started beating really fast, oh my god, I started getting really excited, that my hand started to shake a bit. Harry seemed to notice but ignored and continued on. “Anyways, I was wondering if you wanted to come with me. Since I don’t know very many people, and I think Liam is invited he’s bring Danielle I’m pretty sure and Louis and Niall are coming too. But yeah I thought you should be my date, you in?” He asked, his eyes sparkled when he looked over to me.

“Hell yeah!” I said, “so are we going with the rest of the group or are we taking separate cars?” 

“I think me and you will go together and the rest of them will just drive in another car.” 

Finally! I think this meant that me and Harry would finally have a shot of being together. I got a text from Danielle asking where I was and that her and Liam had surprise, just as I was going to answer we pulled into the school parking lot. I got out and heard someone call my name, I turned and saw Dani and Liam coming our way, Dani had a huge smile spread across her face and same with Liam, then I noticed something; they were holding hands!! “OH MY GOD!!!” I shrieked.

“I know!!” Dani screamed back.  

Liam and Harry just laughed at us freaking out. “Well? How did this happen?!” I asked.

Liam looked into Danielle’s eyes and then they started explaining, “well let’s see, Dani came over to hang out with me, and I finally thought I should just tell her how I felt, and I did and boom!” 

“Congrats man!” Harry said high fiving Liam. 

“Oh my god, I’m so happy! This is great! This means on Saturday you guys will be going to the party as a couple!”  I said.

Dani nodded smiling like crazy, I was so happy for her and Liam. “Well me and Liam are going to walk around for a bit, I think Niall and Louis are inside.” They left us holding hands.

I smiled watching my two best friends walk away happily in love. I turned to Harry who was watching them leave as well, “Liam’s lucky, I want to have a girl to hold hands with.” Harry said out of nowhere.

“That’ll be you someday soon Harry, any girl would be lucky to have you.” I said.

“I’m waiting for the right girl, I think I found her I just don’t know how she feels for me.” 

“Really? Who might this girl be?” Oh god, please say me, please say me, please say me Sam thought.

“I don’t want to say…” Harry said suddenly turning a little red and trying to hide a shy smile.

“Oh come on loser! Just spit it out.” I said in a joking way.

“Hey! I will tell you who it is eventually, just not yet.” 

“Fair enough” the bell rang for first period so me and Harry said out goodbyes, and just as I was heading into first period I saw Louis leaving the school, that’s weird I thought,  I wanted to go after him but me and Louis weren’t all that close. I mean we were friends but we weren’t close, I wanted to make sure he was okay though, so I decided to just go see what was up. I ran out of the doors before anyone could see me. “LOUIS!! Wait up!!” I called.

He turned surprised it was me; he stopped walking and waited for me to catch up, “Waterson ditching class? Didn’t know you had it in you.” 

I ignored his comment, “I just wanted to make sure you’re okay, I’m taking it you are… so maybe I’ll just go back.” I turned to leave and then I felt Louis stop me.

“Wait, why don’t you ditch class with me? We can get to know each other better for once!” He said smiling. “You already left class, so you might as well enjoy your freedom.”

I looked back, what the hell? I might as well make the most of it. “You’re right, let’s go!” I said. 

He smiled a cheeky smile, and we headed off.
