Chapter 16; Surprise!!

It was three days later, and I was finally being released from the hospital, it was Saturday morning and my mom was driving me home. It was silence in the car, I thought about Niall. He had come to visit me every single night after Harry and the rest of the group had come by. Niall was sweet; he seemed to care a lot for me. But there was something about him that made me a little nervous. I just didn’t know what. I had tried to see if I could remember anything about him but it never worked.

We pulled up to the house and I saw Dani outside waiting with Liam, my leg was feeling better so I was able to walk normally again. I got out of the car quickly and walked over fast, “Hey guys!” I said.

“Hey girlfriend! So me and Liam were thinking we could take you out for dinner, if that’s okay with your mom. But you need to get dressed up first.” 

“Sure Dani, that’s no problem.” My mom said coming up behind me and went on inside.

“Um, its morning… so what are we doing now?” 

“Yeah, well we have surprise. So go have a shower and we’ll be out here waiting.” Dani said, she gave me a push to go inside. “Oh and leave your hair wet.” 

I looked at Liam weirdly, and he just shrugged. I went inside and did as I was told. 

After I was done I put on a pair of jeans a sweat shirt, then I headed outside. Dani and Liam were play fighting on the grass when I got out. I just stood there watching them, finally Liam noticed me, and they got up and giggled. I rolled my eyes laughing, and then we got in the car and started driving. “So where are we going?” I asked.

“Surprise,” they both said.

I hated surprises; I wanted to know what it was. I pouted and looked out the window, it was 2 o’clock by now, and finally, we pulled up to the Nashville Mall. 

I got out and looked at Dani who just started walking towards the enterance. “Where are we going?” I asked Liam.

He didn’t answer, but a small smile curved at the side of his mouth, I glared at him when he wouldn’t tell me. We followed Danielle into a Macys and we walked over to a woman who was working at the makeup/hair salon. Danielle stopped and turned to me, “okay you’re going to be getting your hair and makeup done. So I will be back for you in one hour!” 

She left me standing there speechless, and skipped off with Liam following her. I looked at the woman who was staring at me and told me to sit down.  I did as I was told; she started playing with my hair and then decided to curl it. I felt uncomfortable, I felt like I was someone’s doll. After she did my hair she applied my makeup on me. I tried to look in the mirror but she wouldn’t let me. 

It was finally an hour later, and Dani came to meet me at the exact some place, this time Liam wasn’t with her. She paid the lady, when we left I tried to look but Dani did the exact same thing and wouldn’t let me. “Kay when can I see what I look like? I don’t want to walk through the mall looking like a hooker if I actually look like one.” 

“You don’t! You look beautiful, you can see what you look like after our last stop.” 

“Fine…” 

We walked through the mall, I saw people looking at me, I felt nervous and like I was the center of attention. Where were we going I wondered, soon enough I found out, Dani bought me to the store called, Forever 21. She pulled me to the back and made me pick out three dresses, and then she told me to try them on. I went into a changing room and I got dressed, I picked the red and black one, it was one of those flows out dresses. It looked country. We went and paid, I wondered what was going on, it was now 4 o’clock.
