Chapter 8- Louis

We were at this small restraint that everyone liked called Sunset Grill; Louis was starving because he hadn’t eaten this morning. He was sitting across from me eating an omelet, bacon, French toast, and hot chocolate. I sat there trying not to laugh because of the way he was eating. He looked up at me embarrassed, “Oh god am I embarrassing you?” He asked noticing people around us staring.

 I laughed and shook my head, “no, not at all! I find it quite amusing. So Louis you wanted to get to know each other better?” 

He nodded, “Yeah! I thought I might as well since me and you are around each other so much and you know you and Harry are always together and Harry’s my best mate so I might as well get to know you.” I smiled when he said Harry’s name, Louis seemed to notice because he asked “seems like you and Harry have a thing, you in to him at all? I promise not to say anything, you can trust me.” He smiled at me kindly. 

I blushed not knowing whether I should tell him, but I thought I would give it a shot, “well we don’t have a thing, Harry’s just started becoming one of my good friends, but yes, I am into him a little. He’s such a sweetie and he’s really sweet.” 

Louis smiled, and nodded, “yes that’s my Harry. He’s very sweet, you’d be lucky to have him as your boyfriend, he actually texted me a while ago saying you guys were going to the Zayn’s party together, am I right?” 

“Yup, haha I’m kind of excited, I’m hoping maybe he’ll make a move.” 

I noticed Louis trying not to smile; I was taking it he knew something that I didn’t know. He changed the subject, “so have you talked to Niall lately? I notice you guys haven’t really talked since that incident, which I am really sorry for. I didn’t think it would cause problems.” 

“Oh, don’t worry Louis! It’s no big deal, things happen. But no I haven’t, I guess it’s because me and Harry are always together and I don’t know I’ve tried talking to Niall but he seems sort of distant with me right now. I don’t know what I did.” 

Louis frowned, “You know, me and Niall are becoming close because of Liam and I know some things you don’t, but all I should say is that Niall’s not mad, and he cares for you a lot. Maybe you should try hanging out with him by yourself sometime soon.”

Louis was right, I did need to hang out with Niall. I looked down to see he finished his breakfast, “You’re right Louis! I’m going to text him right now and tell him me and him are hanging out after school.” 

Louis face brightened, “Good for you!” 

“So do you have any interest in anyone?” I asked. Just as I did I sent a message to Niall.

“Erm… Can I trust you on this Sam?”

“You sure can!” I smiled reassuringly. I felt my phone buzz in my pocket, I took it out and saw 1 new message from Niall, I opened it and read; Hey Sam!  Yeah I miss you a lot too. Yeah sounds like a plan, meet me at my locker after third?

“Okay, well you know Eleanor Calder?” He blushed a little.

I thought about her for a minute, and then remembered she was the girl that had brown hair and always looked gorgeous, she was quiet but I knew for a fact she was one of sweetest girls at our school, “Yeah I do! She’s in my math class, aww you like her Louis? That is so cute. I think you should try talking to her, she’s a really sweet girl.” 

“That’s the problem!! I can’t do it.” His face fell, “wait! Maybe you can talk to her for me…?” 

“Oh man Louis, I don’t know…” I saw he looked disappointed, “fine fine, I will talk to her, but you will owe me big time buddy.” 

He nodded his head eagerly, “Thanks Sam! I think we should head back to school so we’re not too late for Second.” I nodded agreeing, I waited for him to pay and then me and him headed back to school. I could tell Louis and I were going to become really good friends.
