When it's meant to be (Hayes Grier)

Chapter 4

I wake up and hear cries. Everybody's heads are down. I pretend to still be asleep to hear what everyone has to say. I hear the door open.

"Is she awake yet?" I hear Hayes ask. He actually cares about me?

"No," Taylor answers.

"Are you sure about that?" I mutter. Everybody's heads turn in my direction. They all tackle each other to give me a hug. After that Hayes stands there. His eyes are red and puffy and his eyes are grey. Did he cry that much?

"Leila I'm so glad you're awake" he whispers. I turn my head to look at a wall.

"Leila?" he asks, obviously he doesn't know I'm ignoring him.

"Look Leila, I'm sorry for the way I treated you, I didn't know it would go that far," he explains.

"Well it did and you can't change what happened," I snap. I now realise that Cameron isn't here.

"Hey where's Cameron?" I ask with a bit of anger in my voice.

"He's at home he's gone to get you clothes," Taylor answers.

"Well tell him to hurry up I wanna go home!" I yell. All of the boys look terrified. Did I scare them?

"Ok, jeez calm down," Jack J breaths.

"No I will not calm down, I WANNA GO HOME AND I WANNA SEE CAMERON!" I yell and get out of my bed and slam my foot on the floor and it cracks. What the hell is going on?! I see all the boys in the corner of the room hugging each other and Cameron by the door with a doctor.

"I was afraid this would happen, Mr.Dallas can I talk to you outside please?" the doctor asks Cameron, They walk outside and I get back in my bed.

Cameron P.O.V

"Ok so, it looks like when the bottle hit Leila's head last night it chipped her skull and something bad has found its way into her brain. This little thing is very powerful and when something upsets her she will get angry and lash out unless you're there. Only you can stop her from doing bad things and I will show you how to do it," the doctor explains to me. I nod and we walk back into the room.

We walk over to Leila and he stops me from going closer. I watch everything he does.

"Ok Leila, is it ok for me to touch you?" he asks and she nods. He touches her shoulder, she flinches a bit then she looks at me.

"Ok can Cameron do the same?" he asks, she nods. She stands up and just looks at me. I get scared for a minute, but that's until she hugs me.

Leila P.O.V

I pick up my clothes and go into the bathroom and change. I see that he picked out a black bandeau and a grey tank top to over it and it says 'paradise' in white on it, white shorts and black high-top converse. I also found a red bandana at the bottom of the bag. I walk out of the hospital and into the car.

We arrive home and decide to play truth or dare.

"Leila truth or dare?" Matt asked.

"Dare, I'm feeling risky," I answered.

"I dare you to kiss Hayes," He says evilly.

FRICK!!!!!!!!!
