When it's meant to be (Hayes Grier)

Chapter 20

Cameron lunges towards Matt and throws a punch at his face. I scream, why did this have to happen? I knew I had to do something. I hold my arm up and use the telekinesis to pull him off Matt. And it works. He looks at me and walks over.

"Why did you do that?" He asks.

"I don't want the rape to come between you guys and Matt, this is between me and him, it has nothing to do with you, if  I didn't come here this wouldn't have happened and you all would still be friends!" I yell running out of the room. I run to the only place I know I belong.

Starbucks.

I order a chocolate cream frap and sit down. Someone sits next to me, but I don't bother to look up. 

"Leila why did you just run away from us?" The familiar voice asks. I look up to see Nash.

"How did you know where I was?" I ask.

"Come on Leila, you're the biggest white girl I know, of course you'd go to Starbucks" He laughs "But really why did you leave?" He asks again.

"I just wanted to get away from everything, if I didn't come with you guys to Magcon I would never have gotten raped and Matt and the other guys, including you, would still be friends, I guess this proves that I really do ruin everything" I look down to the floor, thinking that it's more interesting.

"Leila, you need to come back, Magcon is in an hour and we can't go on without you" He says lifting my chin up.

"Ok" I say getting up and walking back with him.

**MAGCON**

We're all on stage answering questions when one girl stands up.

"Ok this question is for Leila, can you explain what happened yesterday?" She asks. I look at Matt and he nods.

"Well the boys went to a party and I stayed in the hotel, the boys came back and Matt ame into my room, he was drunk like, really drunk, and he raped me" I say trying not to remember and cry. The girls in the crowd look at me with sympathy and some with death glares.

"Ok next question from the girl in the Cameron Dallas sweat shirt" Nash calls out.

"This question is also for Leila, are you pregnant?" She asks. I look at Cameron and he nods.

"Yes, yes I am" I answer and all the girls gasp.

"Well I'm so sorry" She says before sitting back down.

"Thank you" I say before Hayes starts hugging me.

"It's ok Leila, you're going to be fine" Hayes whispers.

**AFTER MAGCON**

After Magcon I went to talk to Matt.

"Hey Leila" He says smiling.

"Matt what are we going to do about the baby?" I ask him and his eyes widen.

"I don't want anything to do with it" He answers before he runs away from me.

I walk into my room and see Hayes on his bed on twitter. I faceplant my bed.

"Hey baby I heard your conversation with Matt , and don't worry, I'll be with you every step of the way" He smiles.

"But what happens after the baby is born, are you going to leave me like everyone else?" I ask.

"No, I'll raise that child like it's my own" He says. I run over and hug him.

"Thank you" I whisper.

"I'll do anything to keep you happy" He smiles.

"Guys stop being so cute!" Carter yells walking into the room. We both laugh.

Gosh this boy is so perfect.
