When it's meant to be (Hayes Grier)

Chapter 24

**1 YEAR LATER** 

I'm in the kitchen with Hailey. She's my everything, she's also everything to Hayes. Yes I know what you're thinking, he actually stayed with you? And yes he did. He is the best dad to Hailey. Matt has mysteriously disappeared and we don't know where he went. I put Hailey in her chair and start making funny faces and she starts to giggle.

"Mommy" She says through giggles.

"Yes Hailey" I answer.

"Cheerios!" She screams happily pointing to box of cheerios on the counter.

"What's the magic word?" I ask her.

"Pwease" She says with puppy dog eyes. 

"Ok" I hand her a bowl of cheerios, she squealed of joy as the door opened.

"Leila, we're home" Cameron yelled out. 

"Want to go see uncle Cammy and daddy?" I ask her and her eyes light up and nods her head. I pick her up and walk out to the living room. In the living room is Cameron, Nash, Hayes, Carter, Jack J, Jack G, Taylor, Aaron, Shawn and Matt. 

"Daddy!" Hailey squeals reaching her arms out for Hayes, he walks over and holds her in his arms. It's the cutest thing I've ever seen.

"Hey baby girl, did you be good for mommy?" He asks her and she nods.

"Leila can I talk to you?" Matt asks. I nod and walk into the kitchen with him.

"What is it?" I ask, secretly I want to jump forward and punch him to death.

"I'm so sorry for leaving you like that at Magcon, when Hailey called Hayes her dad something inside of me broke, and that was my heart" He says.

"Really? You leave me there in Florida, after raping me, tell me you don't want anything to do with this baby then you come back hoping that I'll forgive you? Well it doesn't work like that Matt, things will never be the same between us!" I yell then run back into the living room.

The guys are making Hailey laugh by being their usual idiotic selves. How cute.

"Hayes can we go to the mall?" I ask and he nods.

"I'll drive you" Cameron adds.

"Shawn, make sure the guys don't do anything stupid around Hailey, please, I trust you" I say.

"Oh please, when have we done something stupid around a baby?" Nash asks. I start to laugh.

"Remember the time you all, except Shawn, started doing the grind on me dance in front of Hailey, or the time when Jc and Sam came over and you all had a smack cam war, or the time when you-" I was cut off by Taylor.

"Ok ok we get it, we did a lot of stupid things around the baby" He says.

"Ok bye guys" I say before walking out the door.

We just got home from the mall and we're now cuddling on my bed.

"Hayes what will happen when I go back to school tomorrow?" I ask.

"If anyone messes with you, I'll personally kill them myself" He says. He moves his face so it's inches away from mine.

"Hayes" I whine, wanting him to kiss me.

"Yes Leila?" He asks, pretending he doesn't know what this does to me.

"Just kiss me you idiot" I say , slightly annoyed by his actions.

"If you say so" He kisses me while my hands play with the back of his hair. He pulls away, out of breath.

"Goodnight babe" He whispers leaving my room and going into his. An idea pops into my head. I get out of bed and walk into Hayes room, He's already asleep. Perfect. I move the blanket off of him and straddle him. I start to kiss his neck and go down to his collar bone. He moans.

"L-Leila, w-what are you d-doing?" He stutters.

"I didn't want to be alone so I came in here" I say, acting like nothing happened.

"Ok well goodnight" He says wrapping his arms around me.

"Goodnight" I whisper.
