Chapter 29

Hayes and I arrive at school and immediately get stares from people. I'm confused, what did I do?

"What's going on?" I ask Hayes.

"I don't know," he replies.

I start walking to my locker until I get slammed against a wall.

"Hey Leila, we heard you've got a little girl," Jason says. Oh shit.

"How did you find out?" I ask.

"It's all over twitter you slut!" he chuckles.

"It's not like I wanted it to happen," I mumble.

"I'm sorry what was that?" he asks sarcastically.

"I WAS RAPED OK, I WAS RAPED BY ONE OF MY BROTHER'S FRIENDS AND I DIDN'T WANT AN ABORTION, SO I KEPT THE CHILD!!" I yell in his face.

"Oh sorry, that's not what Holly told me," He says.

"What?" I can't believe this.

"Yeah, Holly told me you had sex with your brother's friend and had a child then he left," he explains.

I can't believe this. Holly is my best friend, she wouldn't tell anyone my biggest secret, would she? I hear the most annoying laugh in the world. It belongs to Lexi if you didn't already know. I turned to look and I couldn't believe what I saw. It was Holly, wearing a crop top that was too small for her and showing a little too much of her boobs and a mini skirt that was barely covering her ass. So Jason was right about Holly. Tears start to fall from my eyes and I can't stop them. She looks over at me and a look of guilt flashes over her face. Lexi looks over and laughs. I feel two arms wrap around my waist.

"Baby, what's wrong?" Hayes asks.

"Holly left me for them," I whisper, unable to speak any louder because of the tears.

"Shh, Leila its ok everything is going to be fine. Don't get worked up now, you don't want to do anything you regret," he whispers.

My body starts to shake and my head starts to spin. I ball my hands in fists.

"Hayes step away I don't want to hurt you, call Cameron and Nash quickly!" I say through gritted teeth. He takes out his phone and dials Cameron's number then Nash's number.

Holly and Lexi start walking towards me. I fight the urge to attack them. Instead I punch the wall next to me. There is a hole in the wall now. I hear a door open and close. I turn to look and see Cameron and Nash running towards me. Cameron tells Nash to stay where he is and walks forward.

"Leila I need you to calm down, ok, can you do that?" he asks and I nod.

"Is it ok if I come closer?" he asks again.

"Yes," I reply. He walks closer and I pull him in for a hug.

"Shh, it's ok, I'm here ok," he whispers.

"Thank you,"

"For what?"

"For being there for me when no one else was. For being the best big brother in the world. For sticking by me. For protecting me and mostly for being you," I reply. He pulls me in for a hug.

"Guys I hate to ruin this family moment, but the principal said that Leila can go home," Hayes says.

We walk out of the school and into the car. I'm glad that I have a brother like Cameron and a boyfriend like Hayes.
