I run through the front door of the house and see Shawn holding Hailey and Matt walking towards them. I storm over to Matt and pin him against a wall.
“You touch her and I’ll kill you, got that?” I threaten him.
“But I’m the father, don’t I have the right to see my child?” he asks.
“You will never be her father; Hayes is her father because you left. You said you didn’t want anything to do with her,” I reply. He walks away and I walk over to Shawn and Hailey.
“Hey baby girl, did you miss mommy?” I ask her and she nods her head.
“Mommy, where’s daddy?” she asks.
“Daddy’s at school,” I reply. She frowns.
“Don’t be sad Hailey, daddy will be home soon,” I say. I feel two arms wrap around my waist.
“Miss me babe?” the person asks. I turn around and see Hayes. He kisses me and I kiss him back.
“Yes,” I reply. He smiles and I hear a giggle. I look over and see Nash holding Hailey.
“That’s what happens when two people love each other,” he tells her. Hayes and I look at each other and blush bright red.
**2 HOURS LATER**
I’m sat in my room reading The Fault in Our Stars for the 7th time, because I’m a lazy bitch, when I hear the door open. I look over and see Matt standing there.
“What do you want?” I ask him.
“Why are you with Hayes?” he asks.
“I love him,” I reply.
“Wouldn’t you rather be with me?” He asks.
“No,” I reply harshly.
“You could do so much better than Hayes,” he says. By now I’ve had enough, I get off my bed and tackle him to the floor, punch him across the face multiple times. He has no right to say things like that about Hayes.
After 5 minutes I tried to stop hitting him, but I couldn’t. I heard the door open and felt someone dragging me off Matt. It was Hayes. Cameron soon came into the room and saw Hayes standing behind me.
“Hayes step away from Leila for a minute,” he says. Hayes steps back and Cameron walks forward.
“Leila, I’m going to step towards you now, ok,” He says. I nod and he steps towards me.
“Matt, get out, now,” Hayes tells Matt. Matt runs out of the room and I feel two arms wrap around my waist. I start to tense up.
“Its ok baby, it’s only me, I won’t hurt you. I promise,” Hayes whispers in my ear. I start to relax, but then start to think.
“Where’s Hailey?” I ask.
“Nash has her,” Hayes answers.
I am one step closer to killing Matt, and no one is going to stop me next time.
