When it's meant to be (Hayes Grier)

Chapter 31

I wake up this morning to someone jumping on the bed. I open my eyes to see Hayes, gosh he's such a child. I groan then pull the sheets over my head, Hayes falls down on top of me which caused me to groan in pain.

"What are you doing, you idiot?" I ask him.

"I was being romantic and trying to wake you up in a nice way, but that didn't work so I started jumping on the bed and then this happened," he explains.

"Well thank you for trying to be romantic," I say. I peck his lips then hear a giggle. I look over at the doorway to see Shawn holding Hailey. I get up and walk towards them. Hailey reaches her arms out towards me. I take her into my arms and she wraps her tiny arms around my neck.

"Hi Hailey, did you just wake up?" I ask her. She nods and points towards my bed. I look over to where she's pointing to see Hayes sprawled out on my bed. I hand Hailey back to Shawn.

"Can you take her to have breakfast while I try to get him out of my bed, please?" I ask him.

"Sure, good luck," he answers and walks away to do what I told him.

I turn around to look at Hayes then run and jump on top of him. He groans and opens his eyes.

"Wake up sleepy head, we have school!" I exclaim. He wraps his arms around my waist and turns so we're both on our sides, with my back facing him. He places a kiss to my neck and it leaves the spot tingling.

"Hayes come on, we have to get up or we'll be late," I giggle.

"Five more minutes," he mumbles.

After five minutes of trying to pry his arms off of me I succeed and run over to my closet while hearing a noise of disappointment coming from Hayes.

I pick out a white 'Nah, I don't have a bae. I have pizza.' tank top and a dark blue skater skirt. I walk into the bathroom and turn on my straighteners. While they're warming up, I change into my outfit. I start to straighten my hair, which is very hard when your hair is naturally wavy and doesn't like being straight. After forever of straightening my hair I apply foundation, concealer, mascara and pink lip gloss. I look in the mirror and smile, because I actually look decent.

I walk out of the bathroom and see that Hayes is still lying on my bed. But at least he's awake. He gets up and walks over to me and wraps his arms around my waist.

"You are so beautiful," he mumbles as he leaves multiple kisses on my cheek, jaw and neck.

"Hayes we have school," I giggle.

"Stop reminding me," he groans. He starts kissing my neck again, he kisses a specific place on my neck which makes me let out a moan. He starts biting and sucking on that spot which ends up with me letting out multiple moans. He pulls away a little bit and blows on my neck and I gasp. He looks at me with a smirk and I run to look in the mirror in my bathroom, with him following me. He gave me a hickey. He wraps his arms around my waist.

"This will show every boy out there that you are mine," he whispers in my ear.

"Guys, come on you're going to be late!" Carter yells.

"Okay we're coming!" I yell back. Hayes and I walk downstairs to see Matt sitting on the couch in the living room. My whole body tenses up and I clench my hands into fists. I step forward but Hayes pulls me back. I turn to look at him.

"Don't, he's not worth it," he says. I sigh but nod. Maybe later I can hurt him.

I walk into the kitchen to see Shawn feeding Hailey and Nash making her laugh.

"Where's Cameron?" I ask. I hear a smacking noise and a groan. I walk out of the kitchen and see Cameron and Taylor sitting on the other couch and Taylor's hand is on his forehead.

"Cameron, what did you do?" I ask.

"Well, Taylor and I were arm wrestling then something happened and he ended up hitting himself in the face," Cameron explains. I start to giggle and Taylor glares at me.

"It's not funny!" he mumbles.

"Leila, what happened to you neck?" Carter asks while coming down the stairs.

"Um..." I start to say and look over at Hayes to see him smirking. "I would love to tell you the story but-oh look at the time I'm going to be late for school bye guys-come on Hayes," I say very quickly while grabbing Hayes' hand and running out the door.

Hayes walks me to my locker and I get my stuff for English and put the things I don't need in the locker.

"What class do you have?" I ask him.

"Science, I'll see you later," he says and rushes off to his locker. I walk to my English class. As I sit down I see Lexi, Holly and the sluts walk in. Holly says something to them then walks over and sits in her seat, which is next to me. I get this tingling feeling in stomach and it's slowly spreading everywhere, so I take out my phone and text Hayes

To: Hayes ;)

HELP ME! x

From: Hayes ;)

What's wrong? x

To: Hayes ;)

Holly has to sit next to me and I need to slap her! x

From: Hayes ;)

Please don't do anything stay strong for me, she's not worth it! x

To: Hayes ;)

Okay I'll try not to x

"So Leila, how's Hailey?" Holly asks. My jaw clenches and my hands turn into fists. "How's Hayes, is he a good father to her?" she asks. As I get up to hit her the teacher walks in.

"Good morning class, today I will be giving you a homework assignment, you will have to write a story based on a true story. It can be about something that happened to you or someone else, but it has to be a true story," he explains and the whole class lets out noises of protest. "Now don't be like that, anyway today we will be..."

Ever since yesterday at school when I hit the wall and left a hole in it, the school have said that I only get to be here for half of the school day. So here I am, waiting in the school office for Cameron to come and pick me up. Hayes comes over with a brownie in his hand.

"Hey, I brought you a brownie," he says, handing me to brownie.

"Thank you," I say then kiss his cheek. Cameron walks in and walks over to us.

"Ready to go Leila?" he asks and I nod. I kiss Hayes' cheek again.

"Bye Hayes,"

"Bye Leila, don't miss me too much," I glare at him.

"Trust me, I won't,"

I run into my room and face plant my bed. I'm going to sleep until Hayes gets home and there's nothing that's going to stop me from doing this.
