When it's meant to be (Hayes Grier)

Chapter 19

**THAT EVENING**

I'm sitting in my hotel room waiting for the guys to come back. They went to a party and I decided not to go because, look at what happened the last time I went to a party. I hear the door open and someone stumbling in.

"Hayes?" I ask out but I get no answer. The person shoes themself and it's Matt.

"There you are" He smirks and stumbles over to me. He's obviously drunk.

"Matt? What are you doing?" I ask him, scared.

"Giving you what you want" He slurs pushing me onto my bed. He takes my clothes off followed by his own. He's raping me. He's actually doing this to me.

I think you can guess what happens next.

After he was done, he put his clothes back on then exited the room. I sat there crying. Cameron walks in and sees me crying.

"Leila what happened and why are you naked?" He asked, being protective.

"Matt" I whispered. His eyes widened as I started to cry again. He walks over to the bed and holds me in his arms.

"What did he do?"

"He raped me" I cried.

"HE DID WHAT?" Cameron yelled, making me flinch.

"He raped me Cam" I repeat.

"OMG I'M GONNA KILL THAT BOY!"

"No Cam not tonight, do it in the morning" I say. He nods then exits.

I fall asleep.

**NEXT MORNING**

I wake up and get dressed. I decide to wear a white 'inhale, exhale' t-shirt, black shorts and mint PUMA classic wedge sneakers. I put a 5SOS guitar pick necklace around my neck and a TFiOS 'I fell in love the way you fall asleep' bracelet on my wrist. I straighten my hair and put a black 5SOS beanie on my head. I apply foundation, mascara and pink lip gloss to my face and walk into Cameron's room.

When I walk in I see Nash pulling Cameron off someone. I walk closer and see Matt on the floor.

"What the hell is going on in here?" I ask/yell.

"Your brother beat me up and accused me of raping you" Matt explains. So he doesn't remember last night.

"You did rape me Matt, you came into my room, took my clothes off, pinned me to my bed and raped me!" I yell. I run to Cameron before I do anything stupid. He hugs me and Matt looks guilty. He starts walking closer to me.

"Leila, I'm so sorry I didn't mean it I-" I cut him off as he tries to hug me.

"Don't come any closer, please" I say as I tighten my grip on Cameron. At that moment Hayes walks in.

"Hey guys, what happened?" He asks looking at me wide eyed. I run over to him and hug him.

"Come with me" I whisper in his ear and he nods. We walk into our room and sit on my bed.

"Ok, so, what's wrong? What happened?" He asks.

"When you and the guys came back from the party last night, Matt came into my room, he was drunk, he removed my clothes, pinned me to the bed and raped me, I'm so sorry Hayes" I stat to cry, expecting him to yell at me and leave the room, but instead he hugs me.

"It's ok Leila, it's not your fault, he was drunk, it's his fault, I wish I was there to protect you though" He says.

"I know Hayes, you're the best boyfriend ever, I don't want you to leave me" I say smiling.

"I'll never leave you, from now on I'll never leave your side, I'll protect you, I'll never let anything bad happen to you" He says and I start to cry.

"Don't cry baby, beautiful girls don't deserve to cry" He whispers, wiping my tears away.

We walk back into Cameron's room. Hayes walks over to Matt.

"You touch her again and I'll hurt you" He says. Their face to face. Suddenly my stomach starts to hurt. I run to the bathroom and throw up.

"Leila are you okay?" Nash asks.

"Yeah I'm fine, Cam will you drive me to a store?" I ask him and he nods.

Once we arrive at some store, I jump out of the car, run into the shop and get pregnancy tests. Hey, I'm getting suspicious. I pay for them stuff them in my pocket then run back to the car.

**4 HOURS LATER**

I check the test and can't believe my eyes. I walk out of the bathroom and see Hayes sitting on the bed. He gets up and walks over to me.

"So?" He asks, wanting to know if it's positive or not. I start to cry.

"I'm pregnant Hayes" I cry. He pulls me into a hug and runs circles on my back.

"I'm so sorry Leila" He says.

"I am going to raise this child and teach them not to be afraid of anything" I say looking at him.

"We should tell the rest of the guys" Hayes suggests. I nod. We walk into Carters room and all the boys are sitting down, silent. They see me and stand up.

"What is it?" Matt asks, very scared.

"I'm pregnant" I try to say without crying, but there's no luck. They all look angry and they turn to Matt.

What have I done?
