[24. Homecoming Day]

I need a new album from Zayn ASAP or I will fight him.

[Luciana]

"I started my period." I mope out to Zayn as he gets ready. I should really get ready for school but my stomach hurts.

"That's gross," He says as he cleans up his scruff.

"You're gross." I shout out to the ceiling and look around to my closet to see my dress hanging up. "I feel way too bloated to fit into that dress but I bought it so I have to wear it." I say out loud as Zayn comes over and rubs my tummy.

"It's okay baby. You still look beautiful." He tells me softly and I just roll my eyes and gag on nothing. I feel gross and not pretty in the slightest right now. "Stop pouting and get ready so we can go get breakfast." Zayn tells me and I hop out the bed and into the shower.

[Zayn]

I quickly rush out the house to my car and pop open the trunk grabbing the gift I got for Luciana. I hurry back inside and set it down on her bed and then go to the kitchen to have my coffee while Presley sits in the living room watching Spongebob Squarepants.

I hear the shower stop and the bathroom door open. The sound of feet walking down the hall and her bedroom door closing. I sit in the living room and listen to her reaction and when I hear a small gasp and then awe I smiley widely.

Luciana comes out in her school clothes with her hair wrapped up in a towel and the mum resting across her arm. "This is so pretty! Where did you get it?" She asks as she holds up the long white and gold mum.

"Waliyha made it last night and look," I say and go to the kitchen to get my small mum that matches. "We will match." I tell her and her face softens as she walks over and gives me a kiss.

"Malik I want to see you in my office, now!" Louis says as he walks into the teachers lounge.

"I've never seen him mad before. What did you do?" Calum asks me as I gather up my things and walk to his office. I knock on the door and come inside and there he is pacing around in his small office.

"You have no reason to be mad at me when you were the one who was at Luciana's house. Bloody peaking through the windows." I say and take a seat and so does he.

"I'm going to give you two options." Louis says and presses his hands together like he's giving me a deal. "You can either lose your job or keep your job but you can stay away from Luciana." He says and I laugh at his two shitty options.

I already took the deal to make my second album a few days ago so I'm not scared of looking for a job besides my family had money. I lean in and make the gap between us small.

"Fire me Louis because I'm not staying away from Luciana." I whisper out harshly and then get up and walk out his room.

"Jesus Christ, why aren't you ready?" I ask Harry as he comes inside my house holding his suit and wearing casual clothing.

"Just do my hair and I'll get ready." He says and takes a seat on my bed and messes around with his phone.

"Are you alright?" I ask him as I keep fluffing up Niall's hair. Ever since Harry heard the news about Cynthia being pregnant he's been acting really weird.

"Yeah, I'm fine just tired." He says but I know he's lying. I decide not to pester him anymore and fix his hair.

"You look so handsome Zayn." My mom says choking up as she tightens my tie.

"I'm just a chaperone for homecoming mom, you act like this is my first homecoming." I tell her and go say goodbye to Presley.

"I'll see you later munchkin." I tell Presley and give him a big hug and a kiss.

"Bye mom I'll come by and get Presley tomorrow." I tell her and head out to my car and drive to where the party is being held.

As I'm watching everyone walk inside the building we rented for homecoming I notice Niall coming inside the doors, alone for once.

Harry follows next still alone and now I'm getting nervous that Luciana didn't come. Harry and Niall stay close to the doors and soon enough Niall peaks through the doors and then opens it and so does Harry.

Both of the door are open and here comes Luciana in that beautiful gold dress. She looks like an absolute goddess. The clicks of her heels get closer to me until my nose is invaded with her perfume.

"Hello Mr. Malik." She says very sweetly and gives me a small wink and I return it with a huge toothy smile.

"You look so beautiful baby." I whisper to her and then along come Harry and Niall.

"Lookin good Mr." Niall says and gives Luciana a little nudge. While Harry on the other hand looks to be out of it. Not even paying any attention to the party going on infront and around him.

"Harry, you alright?" I ask him and he just nods his head then walks away. I direct my attention back to Luciana and when I do I notice something explode inside of me. The feeling of passionate caring and deep emotion with one person drives me insane but in a good way. I took vows with Gigi that I thought I was never going to break but look at me now.

The vibration of my phone distracts me from my thoughts of Luciana that I have to go out into the hallway and answer it. Call from California.

"Hello?" I answer and then a familiar voice comes on the other side. My music producer Ed.

"Hey lad, I've been trying to call you all day." He says and I explain to him how I've been busy with work. "Well I guess right now would be a good time to tell you. We can start writing for your album like now." Ed says and I get really happy.

"Wow that's amazing. When are you going to come down here?" I ask him and there is silence on the other end of the phone call.

"Small problem. You have to come to me. Here in California." He says and you become stressed real quick. How the hell am I going to do that.

"You could leave Presley with your mom or you can bring him and stay at my house. You are my good friend you can stay here as long as you want." Ed says and I think about Luciana. We just started our relationship and now I'm going to leave her. I haven't even told her that I threatened Louis to fire me. I'm probably already fired.

"Let me talk to my girl and I'll get back to you Ed." I tell him and he hangs up and I think about what I'm going to say.
