AN: Sorry for the wait, but without any further ado, enjoy the chapter!

Buttercup got off the plane in Townsville, completely lost despite knowing her way around. She couldn't decide how to feel. The professor wanted her back, but he also was the one who pretty much disowned her, said he hated her, and tried to send her across the country without contact in the first place.

Keeping her eyes on the ground, she grabbed her suitcase and aimlessly walked through the airport.

"Are you lost?" She flinched at the voice and looked up to see a security guard. The green eyed girl looked around with a confused look on her face.

"No. I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going." The man offered a sad smile and nodded. Buttercup turned around and walked towards the exit.

She let out a sigh at the sight of an empty parking lot and shivered as the cool summer breeze brushed her legs. The dejected girl sat on a bench and let herself get lost in her thoughts.

"John, maybe you should go pick her up now." Sandra looked expectantly towards the professor, but he sat there with a blank look.

"She'll probably just fly home..." Sara glared at the professor. He couldn't see it, but he could feel the holes burning in his back.

"What?" He turned his gaze to the tall woman.

"You need to pick her up in a car! She's probably sitting on bench waiting for someone to come!" Utonium relaxed in his chair and made no intention of moving.

"If she's not back in ten minutes I'll pick her up. I don't really think I'm ready to see her yet." Sandra stood from her seat and moved towards the door.

"I'm not going to let her sit out there like a lost puppy for that long. Don't wait up for me, I'll be bringing her back to my place until you find the decency to treat her right." The teacher walked out of the door and hopped in her car. It didn't take her long to pull into the airport parking lot and her heart broke as she was met with the sight of the black haired Powerpuff sleeping on a bench in front of the building.

The teacher quickly parked her car and ran to the girl, draping her jacket over her shivering form.

"Buttercup Sweetie, wake up. Come on it's time to go." Green eyes fluttered open to meet blue ones.

"Ms. Keane?" The woman nodded with a sad smile.

"Yes sweetheart, it's me. Get up, it's time to go." The teenage girl slowly got up and got in the passenger side of her former teacher's car.

"So I'm guessing you're the one who got me a flight back home... the professor didn't even care enough to pick me up himself?" Sandra cringed at the sorrow in her shaky voice.

"Don't worry about him. I'm bringing you back to my house for the night." From the corner of her eye, the teacher saw the girl's posture slouch.

"He really hates me, doesn't he?" Ms. Keane frowned and spared a quick glance at the downcast teen.

"Don't worry about him Buttercup. We can talk more about this when we get back to my place." The teen sighed sadly and kept quiet for the rest of the ride home.

"Dad! You seriously couldn't just pick her up? Now she's not even coming home!" He clenched his jaw.

"You'll see her at school tomorrow. Maybe it's best if you girls aren't around her as much." Bubbles sent a watery glare to her father after he dismissed Blossom's statement.

"She's our sister and your daughter! I thought you were bringing her back because you realized how ridiculous you were being!" The professor looked to family picture hanging on the wall. The girl in question was the only one not smiling. Maybe he really had been neglecting her. Maybe this really was his fault. Maybe he was being ridiculous, but how could he take back all of the awful things he said to her.
