"So where do you want to go now?"he asked as they continued down the sidewalk. "Kara?" He asked when she didn't respond. He looked at her and noticed she was biting her lip. She suddenly stopped walking and placed her hand on his arm.

"Barry, we need to talk." Kara said. Barry's face instantly dropped at her words.

"What's wrong?" He asked concerned, he stopped walking and faced her.

"Look, it's obvious that Wally wasn't happy to see me. I know that Joe won't be either, and Rao forbid we run into Iris. Regardless of what you may think I know that Iris ultimately broke off your engagement off because of me." Barry broke his stare on the ground and looked up. He shook his head and opened his mouth to disagree but Kara stopped him. "They will think that too Barry, you know that's what they think." She stopped and looked at the ground.

"Kara where are you going with this?" Barry asked timidly. He gently put his finger under her chin tilting her head up to look at him.

"As much as I love being here with you, I can't stay here knowing that your life would be better with me on my earth." She finished her sentence with a whisper.

"Hey, is this because of how Wally acted?" Barry asked trying to figure out where this decision was coming from.

"It's everything Barry! I came here and you lost your fiancee, you got in trouble at work, Joe was mad at you, and Wally wasn't too happy either! You're life was so much better before I came!" Kara explained.

"No it wasn't. This was not the first time I've been late to work, Joe would be upset regardless, considering he was more upset about having to cover for me again. I told you Iris blew up at me and moved out before you got here that was not your fault. As for Wally I really don't care what he thinks."

"Barry-" Kara tried dropping her head. Barry lifted it once again, this time keeping his hands on her face as he spoke forcing her to look at him.

"Kara, I know you think it'd be better if you weren't here, but it won't be. You leaving won't make Wally, Joe, Iris or Captain Singh any less mad at me. At least when you're here I don't have to go through it alone. Look I know this sucks but I couldn't bear it without you." He said holding her head in his hands. She smiled her eyes watering slightly, her hands on his forearms. "Ok?"

"I think that was the single most cheesiest thing I've ever heard Bartholomew, but also the sweetest." She said with a chuckle. Barry just smiled.

"So you'll stay?" He asked hopefully.

She just nodded her face still creased in concern, her tears still on her face. "I guess, but what if-"

"It'll be ok." He said resting his head against hers, gently wiping her tears with his thumb.

"How do you know that?" She whispered.

"I don't." He replied. She looked up to say more when she realized how close they were to one another. Slowly they leaned in closer closing the gap between them. Him cupping her face with his hand buried in her hair, her with her hand gently resting on his cheek. They pulled away and looked at each other both somewhat in shock but happy. Kara smiled and blushed profusely looking at the sidewalk. Barry stuffed his hands in his pocket and awkwardly laughed, nervously scratching the back of his neck. "Well um.." he started.

"Yeah" Kara agreed. "Your ears turn pink when your nervous" she commented. She then realized what she had said. "Sorry. I didn't mean to say that out loud." She nervously tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. 'Nice job Kara, that's exactly what you tell a guy after you kiss him.' she scolded herself.

Barry just chuckled as her face grew more pink after her comment. "So um, do you want to go to the music shop? I think you'd like it. Besides it only around the block." he said changing the subject.

"Yeah sure. I'd really like that." She agreed, grateful that he decided to move on rather than comment on her slip up. "Let's go, then" she urged grabbing his hand as she began to walk.

Barry was surprised when she grabbed his hand but quickly returned the grasp. He began walking and easily caught up to her so that they were now walking side by side. He smiled at her as she looked up at him with a small grin, her blue eyes sparkling in the sun. "Hey Kara,"

"Yeah?" she said tilting her head slightly as if she was trying to guess what he was about to say.

"Thanks for staying with me."He said, his ears once again turning pink.

Kara just smiled brightly at him "always" she replied. They shortly arrived at the music shop and went in. Kara marveled at how many CD's, records and tapes there were. "Wow they have every kind of music!" she exclaimed. There were two record players and a few radios so that people could listen to the music before buying it. Kara rushed to the records browsing through the hundreds of records. Barry just smiled as he watched in amusement as she went through, scanning every record. 'she's so cute' he thought. "Barry! Look!" Kara called to him, snapping him out of his thoughts. He walked over to her to see what she was looking at. There was a section of all his old favorites; Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Frankie Valli and more.

"Wow" he breathed.

"Oh, look. I love this one!" Kara exclaimed pulling a record of the shelf. She went over to the record players and put it on. she took the headphones attached to it and held it between her and Barry so they could both hear it. She placed the needle on the record and let it begin. Suddenly Paul Anka's voice filled their ears.

Kara smiled at Barry as the song continued.
