After the music shop Barry and Kara decided to finally go home. It was almost dinner time anyway and both were definitely getting hungry. They decided to just walk home instead of using their super-speed and just enjoy each other's company. Kara was holding Barry's hand as they walked, talking and laughing along the way. "So," she started "what do you want to have for dinner tonight?" She asked looking up at him as they went around the block.

"Is that you offering to cook?" Barry asked entertained.

"I mean I guess but in my opinion you could say anything and it wouldn't matter." Barry looked at her confused, in response she just shrugged and explained; "Everything pretty much taste like ash or charcoal when you burn it to a black crisp." Barry laughed, "Anyway it was more so me offering to pay, but that's up to you."

"Well then how about we go here?" Barry suggested pointing at a restaurant that was coming up.

"Sure, why not?" Kara agreed. They walked in and looked around, the place was kind of crowded but nice. It was warm and welcoming and smelled of food with candles at every table. They made their way up to the front desk. "Hi, how long would it take to get a table?" Kara asked the woman behind the desk.

"Hello, umm... let's see, how many will that be?"

"Just us."

"Oh, well I think, hold on please." Kara nodded as the woman watched as a young guy walked over with a towel. "Hey Cade, do we have a table for two?"

"Yeah I just finished cleaning one." Cade responded, "Here, come this way."

"Thanks." Kara said as she and Barry walked over to the table. The table was a few feet away from the entrance and in it's own small corner of the room with a single candle to light it. They took their seats as the Cade left them with two menus. "This all look great!"

"Yeah, and this place smells really good too." Barry added. Soon a young woman came over and took their drink orders. After that they set on figuring out their orders, once they decided they placed down the menus. "So," Barry started as Kara took a sip of her water. " About earlier," he continued, Kara spit her water out in shock and watch in horror, and regret, as it went all over Barry's red sweater.

"Oh my Rao! I'm so sorry Barry!" She exclaimed putting down her drink. 'Seriously Kara? That was your reaction?! You face like death and doom on a regular but you can't handle talking about your kiss?!' Kara yelled at herself.

"It's ok, water water won't hurt me." Barry replied with a lopsided grin as he reached for his napkin. She didn't know what to do but sit there as Barry used his napkin to dry himself off. She glanced around to see if anyone saw, thankfully everyone seemed more interested in their food.  Once he finished he placed the napkin down on the table and looked at Kara amused. Before either of them could say anything the waitress returned with their drink and took their orders and their menus before leaving them again. Barry returned his gaze to Kara who was blushing so badly while twirling her napkin around.

She looked up to meet his eyes, "What?"

Barry couldn't help but laugh, " 'What?' You just turned into a fountain! That's what." Kara just blushed harder. "Well I guess I'll avoid that subject for now." He said with a smile. He took a sip of his own water and set it down. After a few seconds he look at her and said "You know it's ok to talk now."

"What do I say? I just spit water all over my date! I don't-" Kara stopped talking once she realized what she had called him. He raised his eyebrows and waited for her to say something else. Finally she mumbled softly, "Wow, I suck at having dinner."
