Chapter one

My alarm clock buzzed at 6:30.. I was woken by the loud buzz. I was in the middle of a perfect dream. That always seems to happen to me. Channing Tatum was in my dream, shirtless. He was chief in my house. Anyways, I didn't want to get up and go to school, I laid in bed and waited until my alarm clock went off again, which was at 6:45. I finally got up and went into the bathroom to brush my teeth. My mom yelled at me, my mom was the typical mom.. Always wanted to know where and what I was doing. Annoying.

"Dakota, breakfast!"

"Okay mom! I'm brushing my teeth!"

After I brushed my teeth and curled my blonde hair, I went downstairs and ate what my mom had made me. It was French Toast.. My dad used to make the best French toast. My dad passed away when I was 15.. He died from lung cancer and ever since then, nothing has been the same.

I got to school late, I really needed Starbucks. I was not feeling school. I thank the lords that I only had 4 periods today. I had English, French, Anatomy and math. Which I was looking forward.

I went to my first two classes. At lunch I was by myself.. All of my friends are graduated. But that didn't matter. It was finally the end of my day, and as I watched all of the little sophomore and freshman walk to class, I just laughed remembering all the times that I goofed off those years.

When I got home there was a black Toyota runner in the driveway, which was my spot.. As I walked through the door at my house, I heard my mom laugh and I was wondering "what the fuck" I didn't know what was going on.. I walk into my moms room to see her half naked kissing a dark haired man..

"Mom, what the hell?!"

"Dakota! It's not what it looks like!"

"Really?! Cause it looks like you're getting ready to have sex with this man I have never met! I need money, I'm not staying home, not with him here and I'm pissed at you."

My mom handed me sixty dollars and I ran into my room and grabbed another outfit. And walked out of the house.
