"(Y/N) it's okay." Beverly spoke in a calm voice. You looked over at Beverly than put your head in your knees again.
"They're fucking talking about me Bev. How is that okay?!" You snapped. Beverly sighed. She looked over at the stairs.
"Your parents are gonna hear you swearing." She warned. You shrugged.
"They aren't here," You cleared you throat. "FUCK!" You yelled. Beverly glanced over at the stairs but there was no response.
"I guess you're right." Beverly smiled.
"I guess I am." You said in a sassy voice. Beverly scoffed sarcastically.
"Let's go watch TV." Beverly said standing up from the ground. You got up and walked over to the TV and turned it on. You turned to a channel where they were talking about homicides. "Ooo! Can we watch this?" Beverly pointed at the screen. You nodded and walked over to the couch and sat next to Beverly. While she was watching TV you looked out the window. It started raining faintly. You than saw someone fall off their bike.
"Shit!" You heard them yell. You got up and walked outside to see who the person was. The person was face first on the ground so you couldn't see their face until they stood up. You grabbed their arm and helped them up.
"You oka-" You looked at the person and saw Eddie. He didn't even live close to you! Your hands formed into fists. "What. Are. You. Doing. Here?" You demanded. Eddie looked at you. He seemed as if he didn't know what to say.
"I was going for a bike ride?" He said in a question voice. You sighed and let your hands form back into hands so they weren't fists.
"Explain yourself." You glanced over at they trail you'd take to get to Richie's house and than at Eddie. Eddie was obviously panicking. He grabbed his inhaler and used it a couple of times. You stared at him.
"It isn't what you think!" Eddie blurted. You smirked slightly. Eddie was struggling to say his words.
"Spit it out." You growled.
"I can't! I'm sorry (Y/N)!" Eddie jumped on his bike and peddled away.
"Get back here asshole!" You screamed but Eddie didn't turn back. You stomped back to your house and saw Beverly waiting for you.
"He didn't crack did he?" Beverly asked.
"What do you think?" You snapped. Beverly sighed and the two of you watched TV for awhile, it got dark. Beverly passed out on the couch and you decided to go for a bike ride. You put on your hoodie and got your bike from your garage. Your parents weren't home yet, you didn't think much of it. You started biking around. You were lost in your thoughts when you heard someone yell your name. You looked behind you to see Eddie.
"(Y/N)!" Eddie said again.
"What do you want asshole?" You grumbled and stopped your bike. Eddie rode next to you. Eddie sighed and looked at you.
"I'm sorry I ditched you. I just didn't know what to do." Eddie admitted.
"Okay, so are you ready to tell me why you were at Richie's house?" You asked. Eddie's eyes widened and he gulped.
"It was Richie's idea." He blurted. You looked at him. Eddie was waiting for you to yell at him, his eyes shut.
"What a surprise!" You sarcastically said. Eddie gulped as he cautiously opened his eyes.
"Beverly was planning a Loser Club meeting at the Derry Park because she couldn't come to the other one. She told Stan, Bill, and I about it but she canceled because she couldn't go. Bill than told everyone but Richie stopped Bill from inviting you. Richie suggested going to his house instead of Derry Park." Eddie finished. You stood there in shock.
"Even Beverly?" Your voice cracked as you said her name. Eddie froze. He didn't know what to say. He took out his inhaler and used it before he spoke.
"Even Beverly." Eddie admitted.
"Does everyone hate me now?!" You asked. Not expecting an answer. Eddie looked at you than at his feet.
"I have to go, bye (Y/N)!" Eddie took off on his bike.
"Bye asshole." You grumbled at Eddie. You slowly rode your bike back to your house and put your bike in the garage. You walked inside and saw that Beverly was on the couch eating popcorn.
"Hey (Y/N). Where'd you go?" Beverly asked.
"I went for a bike ride." You replied. Beverly sat up and patted the area next to her. She was hinting at the fact that she wanted you to sit next to her.
"I hope it's okay that I made popcorn." She said as she patted the seat. You stared at Beverly, not moving a muscle. Beverly stood up and walked over to you. "What's wrong?" She looked at you with a concerned look.
"You didn't tell me about the meeting." You stared at your feet. Beverly seemed surprised. She put her hand on your shoulder but you shrugged it off.
"I didn't want to hurt you so I didn't say anything." Beverly confessed. You didn't look up at her. Tears were welling up in your eyes.
"Ignorance isn't bliss Bev." You said. Beverly seemed surprised that you said that.
"(Y/N)-" Beverly was about to say something when you interrupted.
"Just let me go to sleep." You shoved passed her and walked upstairs. Beverly followed you but you slammed the door before she walked into your room. You leaned your back against the door and sat down.
"Please (Y/N)... Let me in." Beverly asked. You didn't respond. You grabbed a piece of paper and wrote something down on it. You wrote:
You can stay for the weekend, just don't expect me to talk to you for the rest of the night or tomorrow. Maybe Sunday.
You slid the paper under the door and Beverly grabbed it. She sighed and walked away. Before she walked downstairs she spoke. "I'm sorry (Y/N). Very sorry." She walked downstairs and you waited for awhile. You looked up and walked to your window. The pile of rocks Richie sat down was still on the curb. You smiled slightly as tears started rolling down your cheeks. You collapsed onto the ground and heard the tear-drops hit the floor. You closed your eyes as you got lost in your thoughts and fell asleep.
