You biked next to the other losers. You were back. Apart of the group again! You couldn't believe it. Bill suggested a party be thrown at the barrens. They told you to bike home and Beverly would escort you to the barrens once everything was reading. Yeah, Beverly was going to be there! You two left off at a rocky start. But she understood why, right?

As you got to your house you set your bike next to your door. You were way too excited to go inside your house and get ready. What would you even do? Change your socks? You were wearing your favorite outfit, ironically, so you didn't need to change. You leaned against the wall of your house and looked at your feet. A smile was spread across your face and a slight blush too. Words couldn't describe how great this day was. Well, except for the part where you punched Richie in the face. That part kinda sucked.

"(Y/N)!" You heard someone yell. You looked up and saw Beverly running towards you. You grabbed your bike and rolled it towards her. "You ready for your special day?" She winked. Your smile grew even bigger. If that was even possible. Beverly turned around and hopped on her bike. But before she started peddling you opened your mouth.

"Hey Bev, I-I'm really sorry I treated you like trash. You aren't trash. You're actually really great and my best friend. You've been there for me when I was feeling like shit and you stuck by my side. I'm sorry." You said. Beverly looked at you with a calm expression.

"I forgive you," She said as she hugged you. "Mrs. Tozier." She snorted and began laughing. Your face began to heat up and you smirked.

"You ass." You grumbled as you hopped on your bike and started to peddle. Right behind Beverly. You couldn't wipe the smile off your face, and neither could Beverly

"Are you excited?" Beverly asked as she turned her head towards you for a second.

"Yeah! Have you seen it?" You asked as you kept looking straight so you wouldn't fall off your bike.

"The area where they set it up? Oh you bet!" Beverly snickered as she spoke. You sighed and continued to bike.

"Why are you going so slow?" You groaned.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Patience is a virtue (Y/N)." Beverly said. You rolled your eyes and squeezed the handlebars.

"Do the Losers hate me?" You thought out loud. Beverly stopped in her tracks. Her bike made a skid kind of noise. Which made you stop quickly too.

"Why on Earth would you think that?" Beverly's head whipped around as she stared at you. "They're throwing a party for you last time I checked, I don't think they hate you." She smiled slightly and looked at the sky.

"I don't know. I punched Tozier in the face and I kind of treated them like shit.." Your voice trailed off as you rubbed the back of your neck.

"(Y/N)," Beverly set her bike on the ground and walked over to you. The ginger-haired girl put her hand on your shoulder. "The Losers missed you so much. You always had actual good jokes unlike Rich. You always brought a smile to our faces and you would always defend us. Against Henry Bowers, IT, other assholes who try to fuck with us." She smiled calmly at you. You smiled as well.

"Thanks Bev, I guess I'm just getting nervous." You laughed weakly. Beverly sighed.

"You really shouldn't be. Now come on! We're going to be late!" She said as she picked up her bike and began pushing it. She then hopped on it and started to peddle. Which lead you to do the same. You kept thinking about all the fun times you and the Losers had, trying to calm your nerves. Then you arrived at the barrens. Well, almost the barrens. You had to go through a forest before you actually arrived there. Beverly wrapped a bandanna around your eyes and grabbed your hands.

She carefully lead you through the forest. You held your breath as she stopped. Then she slowly took off the bandanna. "Surprise!" Everyone yelled.

"Well, not really but you get the idea." Richie said. You smiled and saw streamers on the trees, paint on rocks, and confetti on the ground. You laughed lightly, trying to speak but no words came out.

"You like it?" Eddie asked. You looked at him, than the Losers, than the decorations.

"Yes! Yes, I most certainly do!" You exclaimed and everyone threw their hands up in excitement.

"Th-Thank god." You heard Bill say.

"Yeah, Bill thought you weren't gonna like it." Stan said as he patted Bill on the back. You chuckled at this.

"I brought music guys." Ben said as he held a radio. Richie's eyes lit up as he saw the radio.

"Good! So now it won't be boring. Well, with just us all talking." Richie laughed. You rolled your eyes and elbowed him.

Ben turned on the radio and music came on. You and the Losers talked and played weird games. It was a lot of fun. It even became a little dark and nobody seemed to mind. Mike had brought flashlights so he set them up.

As the sky began lighting up with stars, Bill started a fire. Eddie, Mike, and you were skeptical at first, but Bill seemed to know what he was doing. You all sat around the fire and began talking. Richie and you sat next to one another.

"Having fun?" Richie asked as he looked at you. The two of you were very close since you guys were sharing a rock. It wasn't a huge one or a small one. But barely big enough for the both of you to sit on.

"This is probably the most fun I've ever had." You said with a smile. When you said that, Richie smiled his dorky, toothy smile. You had missed that. Making Richie smile. It always made you feel great. Richie was a great friend and you'd do anything for him, really. Maybe not everything, but mostly everything. Wait, yeah everything.

"Oh my God," Stan face-palmed as you two were talking. Richie and you turned your heads to look at Stan.

"Is there a problem?" Richie asked as he tilted his head. You swung your arm around Richie's neck-shoulder area. You know, the thing best friends do.

"Yeah, Stan the man. Is there a problem?" You asked with Richie as the two of you smiled.

"Oh for God's sake," Stan sighed as he stood up. "Just kiss already!"

Your face began to heat up. "I-I don't kn-" You began talking as you looked at Stan. You then slowly turned your face towards Richie who cut you off with a kiss.

"Finally! Jesus Christ." Beverly said as she began to clap. Everybody else joined.

"I like you Tozier," You said as you looked into his brown eyes. "I like, love you."

"I love you too (Y/N)."
