Summary: On a whim you steal Steve's motorbike and go for a ride with him.

(Name) was half awake and standing on her balcony looking up at the starless sky. Her half awake body giggled imagining the stars deciding that they were done with shining and just walking off to retire.
"Stars, can't do it, not today" she mumbled absentmindedly. She always seemed to quote The road to El Dorado when she couldn't sleep. Which seemed to be quite a lot now that she thought about it.
Down below her on the street cars honked and midnight cyclists speed by on the footpath. Her eye lands on a silver motorcycle, just parked to the left of some bushes across the road. Her entire body shivered with kleptomanic intent. Her eyes filled with manic glee. She was going to steal that motorcycle.

The pavement was cold on her feet and her hair was getting flung in her eyes by the raging wind. The motorcycle's pegs were right in front of her feet, so shiny and new. God she loved that smell, the smell of new things that were just ripe for the taking. Hoisting her nightgown up she ascended onto the seat of the Harley Davidson. This feeling was brilliant.
It's not everyday you get to steal someone's motorcycle, now is it. Congratulations girl. Now lets get going before whoever's this is finds out that I have stolen this motorcycle.
Her hands wrapped around the handlebars and she took off.

It was nearly twelve am when she heard the footsteps loudly increasing behind her. She turned her head to look behind her and saw a large figure. She couldn't make out what they looked like from her position on the bike, but she could definitely tell that they were male. Their footsteps were getting closer.
Would she have enough time to get away?
Possibly not, but surely it wouldn't hurt to try. Pressing harder on the accelerator she sped up, hoping to get away from her pursuer. Unfortunately it was to be a failed endeavour. The man had caught up with her. She could hear his breathing behind her. The funny thing was, he didn't seem to have broken out into a sweat or anything. (Name) turned her head around, and looked directly into the bright blue eyes of Captain America.
+
(Name) had her hands on her hips.
'Okay fine Mr. America. I'll give you the bike back if you take me on a night ride through the city.'
She extended her hand for him to shake. He took it, trying not to squeeze her hand to hard.
'Deal.'

It was kind of hard to hold on to Captain America and still enjoy the view at the same time, but (Name) was able to manage it. The buildings lights and the smell of the trees made her sleepy and calmed her down. She didn't even care that she was going to eventually give the bike back.
'Hey Cap'. What do they call you when you're not on parade? Y'know being all americary'
He laughed.
'My name is Steve Rogers.'
'(First name)(Last name)'
'Great. Now is there anywhere in particular you want me to go before you have to give me this bike back?'
'There's a pretty good park over by 75th street. There's nice benches and quite a few squirrels.'
'Okay, I'll take you there.'
-
The bench was cold, but Steve was warm. (Name) leaned over to him and looked up at the sky were some stars were now beginning to shine.
'The sky is beautiful tonight isn't it?'
Steve murmured in agreement, but he wasn't looking at the sky. He was watching (Name), who was looking at the stars with wonder.
Steve smiled. He was now happy and content.

Author's Note: I feel like it ran away from me a little bit at the end, but I'm mostly happy with how it turned out. Diana - please tell me if there is anything wrong with it, or something you want me to change. I do apologise for it taking six months.
