Crushes and..wait what?!

Liza's POV
"AYE YO MAMI! YOU COMIN' TO THE PARTY TONIGHT?!" Some jerk named Carlos said to me. "Uh, yeah I think so" I say and walk away quickly before he could ask me anymore questions. I look around and find David. He's in one of my classes but for some reason I have the biggest crush on him. The only thing is, he has a girlfriend. And not some bitch named Stacey or something. A nice girl. The sweetest girl. My best friend. Nicole. She's so pure and funny. I love her. But she loves him. And I'd never want to ruin her relationship with him. But I couldn't help but dream. Dream about David and I. Us one day being together. But it'll never happen. Because it's all a dream.
I don't realize that David has walked up to me and is now talking to me. "Hey Liza!" He says. Ugh I get butterflies. "Um do you know the Spanish homework that was assigned?" He says. I get a little bummed knowing that he'll never talk to me about something not related to school. "Uh yeah it's  chapter 11, page 28".

Liza's House, Liza and Nicole are getting ready

"Oh my god Liza girl get it!" Nicole says as I present my outfit.

I giggle at her comment. " You look great too!" I say.
This is Nicole's outfit

"You think David will like this? My butt looks great in these shorts!" She says and I fake laugh. But not enough for her to notice. "Um don't you think you'll get a little cold in those?" I say and she shakes her head. "As long as I can look better than you, I don't care how cold I am" she says.  I don't know if she was kidding or not but I felt uncomfortable. I hear my doorbell ring and I walk down stairs to get it. "Hey Dave!" I say and he kinda stares at me for a while. "Uh, David? Are you okay?" I say looking at him weirdly and he clears his throat. "Uh Uh ye-Yeah I'm good. Uh di-did you get a new haircut?" He says stuttering a little. I giggle at his cuteness and answer. "Uh yeah I cut my hair short just two hours ago" I say with a smile and he smiles back. We sort of just looked at each other for a while, enjoying each other's presence. That is until... "DAVID BABE YOU'RE HERE!" Nicole says jumping down the stairs and running up to hug him. "Hey babe uh, aren't you going to get cold in that outfit?" David says. "I wore it for you" Nicole says sexually as she traces her fingers around his neck. What is wrong with her? She's never like this. "Uh-um o-ok well we should get going it's already 9:00" We nod and head out to David's car.

They're at the party/ I'm lazy

As we enter the party it's madness. Drinks, drugs, and a whole lot of horny teenagers. I go to the kitchen and find something to drink. After searching and searching for something other than alcohol I find a coke in the fridge and I open it. Then I feel hands sliding up and down my waist and squeezing my butt. I quickly turn around and see this tall guy with dirty blonde hair and blue piercing eyes. "Hey babe your ass looks great in those pants baby girl" He says and I get even more uncomfortable. But no one notices as they're all drunk and high. He starts grinding on me and I try to wriggle out. My breathing gets heavier as I start to get panicky. I'm on the verge of tears as he starts to finger me in all the places I don't want him to. But my petite body can't do anything as his body towers down me. But then I hear someone scream and punch the guy. He gets off and I look at my hero. I run up and hug him and he stares at me. "Are you Okay?" He says and I nod. After that we stare at each other and we share a magical kiss. "Thank you so much Alex" I say in between kisses. "Anything for you baby" Alex says and I giggle.

David's POV
I walk out of the room as Nicole tries to get me back. "No come on don't you want to hit this?!" She says and I shake my head. "Look babe I don't want to do it here! This is supposed to be  a special moment, not a hook up at a party" I say. She pouts and leaves. I walk out into the living room and something stands out. It's Liza and Alex making out in the kitchen. Alex, my best friend. Something hurts although I don't like Liza, I don't think so. But what I see next sets me off. He's leading her into a room. They're going to have sex. I won't be Liza's first! Wait what? Ugh I don't know what my feelings are anymore. I love Nicole but recently she's been acting weird. Not herself. Like she's hiding something. They go into the room and I can't help but try to stop them. They're still making out and I break them up. "Hey dude what are you doing?" I say. "Uh hey Dave, I was kinda in the middle of something" he says and he looks a little embarrassed. Liza is standing behind him, like he's protecting her. I get a little angry. "Don't you think that's a bad idea. I mean you're probably just drunk. You wouldn't want to have sex with Liza! I mean is it worth it?" I say instantly regretting what I said. Liza looks hurt but Alex tries to comfort her. "David why would you say that?! Liza is beautiful and definitely worth it. I'm not drunk. She's my everything!" Alex says and I get red. "David why don't you just have sex with your girlfriend and not worry about anyone else!" Liza says and starts walking out. Alex follows as I just stay in one spot. I can't move. I just ruined any chance of being with Liza. And now I know that I definitely like Liza. I walk outside and see Liza and Alex hooking up in the car. She's on top of him and they're making out. I wipe away my tears as I go back to the party. I go back into the room me and Nicole were in and I see her having sex with some guy! "NICOLE WHAT ARE YOU DOING" I say. "I'm sorry David. You're sweet. But we can't be together anymore." She says and I get a little heartbroken. Was it because I wasn't giving her what she wanted? But what shocked me was that there wasn't a guy under the covers. It was a girl. Nicole's a lesbian. "I'm sorry David!" She says sobbing. "No no! I still love you no matter what your sexuality is" I say. "But but, I like Liza, and she'll never like be back!" Nicole says.

My ex girlfriend and I like the same girl. And that girl probably doesn't like us back.
