Hiya. I was extremely bored so I made this one shot. In like the middle it was sort of inspired by the first episode of Riverdale so yeah.

Liza's POV
As I get in my car I drive two seconds to David's house. He doesn't have a car yet so I have to drive him everywhere.
David and I are best friends. Well, we're basically family. We live right next door to each other and we go to each other's houses all the time. We've been next door neighbors since we were four.
When he gets in the car he smiles and I wink.
"What's up loser" he says chuckling.
"Do I have to remind you I don't have to drive you around LA?" I smirk back.
"Okay okay good morning princess" He says defensively yet smiling.
His smile. It gave me butterflies in my stomach. His laugh, it was my everything. He was just .. perfect.
When we get to school we walk side by side like we always do. It makes me go crazy to not know how David feels about me. Like, I know he likes me.. but does he like me? Does he feel the same butterflies that I do?
Unfortunately David and I have different classes for the morning but that gives me time to focus on my work. When David is in the class we're usually goofing around, making weird faces to make the other laugh in the middle of class, or just straight up talking.
I meet up with Kristen and Corinna as we head to first period.
They know about my crush on David and they tease me about it all the time.
Flashback
"Come on stop being a pussy and tell him how you feel" Corinna says popping a fry in her mouth.
"Um Corinna if you didn't know, it's not that easy" I say rolling my eyes.
"It's not easy but that's why you have us, to help you" Kristen says with a smile.
"I don't really want you guys telling David I like him, it should come from me" I say simply.
"So when is it gonna happen?" Corinna says impatiently.
"When are you and Todd going to be official?" I snap back.
Corinna laughs and shakes her head.
"You're hopelessly in love my dear, but you won't let us help you" Corinna adds.
"I don't need your help" I say shyly
End of Flashback
"Hiya guys" Kristen says as we walk to our seats.
"Sup" Corinna replies
"Hey" I add.
"Oh my god, so there's a mini party and you're all invited, it's at Zane's but it's not Zane's party" Corinna says while rummaging through her book bag, looking for some sort of writing utensil. "It's hosted my Mark" she adds.
"Um sure it sounds fun" Kristen says
"Will there be drinking?" I ask hoping there isn't much
"Nah it's not that type of party, it's laid back, just us sober teens" Corinna says shrugging
"But next week-" Corinna starts but she's interrupted by the teacher beginning her lesson.
Corinna sighs and Kristen and I giggle quietly
