David's POV
As I stare at the perfect angel a few feet ahead of me Josh slams my locker in my face, waking me up from my trance.
"Dude you've been fucking staring for three minutes what the hell are you looking at?" He says rather annoyed. "Calm down dawg I was just daydreaming" I snap back. "Well, it's time to go we need to meet up with Bryan" he says in a low tone. I nod and quickly get a glance of my perfect girl before walking away.
When both Josh and I got settled in I start driving to our usual spot in an alley way. It may still be light outside but no one ever goes by our spot because of its nasty and dangerous reputation.
"Hey what's up man" Josh says doing a handshake with our drug dealer Bryan. "And Dobrik here, sup buddy" Bryan says and hits my shoulder.
Josh and Bryan do their thing while I'm on standby. I don't drink or smoke or do drugs. I think they're stupid. However I ended up hanging with the wrong people and got the reputation of the "Bad Boy". Trust me, I know, cringe, but it's true. However there is this one thing that I consider a drug. And it's a girl. Her name is Elizabeth Koshy but everyone calls her Liza.
Liza is completely captivating in a way that it's hypnotic. She's my angel. She's my drug. She's the reason I always stay sober. Because I like to protect her. She doesn't know I do, but I do it anyway. She probably doesn't even know I exist.
"Okay Dobrik lets go" Josh says with a small duffel bag in his hands.
As I drive back to drop Josh at his house I see Liza walking home. I slow down and roll the window down.
"Hey, need a ride home?" I ask with a smile.
"Uh, yeah actually, thanks" she says with relief. When she got in the car she smiled. I can't lie, I was in shock. I can't believe that Liza Koshy is in my car. She's even more gorgeous up close.
"What?" She asked confused of why I haven't been driving, instead staring at her.
"N-nothing nothing, it's just-" "Didn't think I was going to say yes?" She cuts me off. "Uh, yeah actually" I laugh and she joins. "Yeah, well I'm kinda desperate, my boyfriend couldn't drive me" she says bummed out. My heart drops. Boyfriend?! I know everything about Liza yet I didn't know she had a freaking boyfriend.
"Oh, w-who's your boyfriend?" I ask politely. "Mason" she beams. "How long have you guys been together?" I ask again. "Well he asked me out last week on Thursday" she says with a big smile. "That's cute" is all I say. She smiles and goes on her phone.
When we arrive at her house she smiles and thanks me.
"Hey before you go, there's this party Mason is hosting, do you want to come?" She asks and I plaster a smile. "Uh, I'll think about it, thanks for the invite" I say and she nods.
Yeah I'm not going. I'm sorry but parties aren't specifically my thing. Also, I have a bio test that I should study for.
*Later that night*
As I'm finishing up my paper for English class I get a notification that someone sent me a snap. I open Snapchat and see that Josh sent me a video. It's just of him drinking a beer with a bunch of people. Probably in a mosh pit.
I chuckle softly and check the time.
10:17 pm
I didn't realize how long I've been working but I decided to be done for the day and take a quick shower.
