A LOVE NOT LOST - Justin Bieber Fanfic

Chapter 4

The black box felt like velvet in her hands. She opened the cover. A shimmery silver chain lay in the box. She lifted the chain in her hands and a small heart dangled from the middle.

 “Open it.” Justin’s angelic voice was so calm.

Still trying to figure out what Justin actually meant, she opened the locket – the heart split in two with the words ‘Je t’aime’ written on the insides of both the parts.

Sarah frowned. She did not understand French and her expression made it all the way more obvious to Justin that she was trying to solve a mystery.

“I love you” Justin said before Sarah reached out for the answer to her puzzle.

“The locket says I love you. Sorry I let you down last night, I didn’t –”

Sarah put her finger on his lips and silenced him with a “Sshh”

“No girl can ever feel let down if she’s with you. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. I love you Justin.”

She got up from her chair and moved closer to him. They were just inches away from each other. Sarah could feel Justin’s warm breath as she drew more closer. Her hair fell gently from her shoulders onto Justin’s chest as she titled her head. Sarah could hear her own breathing grow faster. She peered into Justin’s perfect brown eyes and gazed at her bloodshot eyes with too much crying and no sleep. Yet she was perfect for him and he was for her.

The golden rays of the morning sun pierced the blinds on the window as it made its way into the room. It was dawn.

Sarah’s lips were gently pressed on Justin’s. Their tongues moved in unison. The electricity shot through her body as Justin’s IV-free hand moved to her nape adding all the more intensity to this intimate and the most magical moment of both their lives.

At the back of her mind, Sarah thought nothing but how much she loved Justin. Justin’s hand ran through her hair. She loved Justin more than anything.

Justin’s tongue moved gently over hers. Damn. She thought. This guy can make you go gaga even being in a hospital bed. She laughed at her silly thoughts in her mind.

She loved Justin and he loved her back, what else could she possibly want?

The door clicked and none of them seemed to notice until Fredo popped his head in, “Oops! I am sorry Sarah but the visiting time is up. We need to leave.” His playful yet apologetic tone made Justin and Sarah smile. And eventually they all ended up laughing.

As Justin pulled in to kiss Sarah one more time before she left, he whispered “I love you” before their lips met again but this time only for a moment.

“I’ll be back soon. Take care."

She planted a kiss on his forehead before disappearing out of the room.
