[ChaSang] Don't Grow Up

Early Friday morning, the sun was covered up by the clouds and Hyuk really wanted to sleep in a bit more. But unfortunately for him, the dorm that morning was rather noisy. Every one was going out one by one for their individual schedule that the doors kept opening and closing. It was annoying for him especially since he was the only one without a schedule that day.

He rolled over his bed to see that once again, Wonshik didn't come home last night. Probably another night in his studio composing something.

He reached out for his beloved cellphone that says - 7:15 a.m.

Hyuk couldn't help but grumble in displeasure since he was forced to wake up so early in the morning. Once he was awake, it was nearly impossible for him to go back to sleep.

They seriously have zero courtesy to those that need the sleep, he thought to himself and couldn't help but despise the older members a bit. They should have known that the youngest didn't have a schedule and should have been a lot quieter when they left the dorms.

After a few rolling and turning, he decided to wake up finally. He grabbed his hoodie and pulled it over his head to keep himself warm. He looked at his phone again for the weather, - 5 degrees celsius. He grumbled even more as he felt the chills throughout the dorms as soon as he opened his bedroom door. Someone left the balcony door opened and let all of the cold draft inside of the dorm.

How many times do I have to keep reminding them to lock the windows and doors before they leave? Hyuk complained in his mind and rushed to close the door before the place turned freezing cold. He cranked up the heater a bit to warm the place up again. Sometimes, he forget that he's actually the youngest in the group especially since no one really acts their age here.

He did a little morning stretch and then went to wash up.

He even wiped down the bathroom a bit since he could tell the others were leaving in a hurry because the towels were all over the place and the toothbrushes weren't even placed in the proper cups.

Wait until they get home, I'm totally going to lecture them! He's the youngest but he's definitely got the power to do so. Over the years, it seems like all of their age order have reversed. Taekwoon have gotten a lot softer and less intimidating as Hyuk remembered him to be. Jaehwan is getting more and more into his 'cute' main vocalist role and even Wonshik acts really strangely once he's off stage. On the other hand, both Hyuk and Hongbin have gotten a lot more mature and sometimes even lead the group during their dance rehearsals. Finally, there's Hakyeon. The oldest and the leader of the group. He was the only one that was actually growing up but unlike with the other members of the group, Hyuk doesn't know whether he likes Hakyeon maturing or not.

He still remembers when Hakyeon used to dote on him and cling onto him whenever he could because the oldest thought that Hyuk was the most adorable person ever. He spoiled Hyuk so much that Hyuk got very used to it. Maybe that's why, Hyuk had no problem becoming the maknae on top because the leader gave him all the power.

But Hakyeon has been very busy lately, he's been going all over the place, alone and doing events or musicals. Hyuk couldn't help but feel left behind sometimes whenever he realizes that the dorm was without Hakyeon. Hakyeon used to be the one that waits for his members to return on his favorite sofa of the living room but now, Hakyeon is one of the ones that doesn't return until very late at night.

Hyuk let out a sigh as he finished washing up.

Just as he went out into the hallway, he heard sounds in the kitchen. He went to see who it was and to his surprise, it was Hakyeon.
