Scribbles. Scribbles.
"This isn't right." He frowned and scrunched the piece of paper.
He's been in his studio since the night before yet he still couldn't get the first word onto the paper. He tossed the piece of paper to the trash which bounced right off onto the floor because it was already overflowing with the bundles of paper that was tossed inside.
He finally hit a deadend. Or should he say, a writer's block.
The rapper and songwriter of the group was at lost while trying to create his next piece of work. But nothing was working. It was as if everything in his mind was suddenly washed away and left with nothing but a blank.
"Argh!" He scratched his head frantically in distress.
Knock. Knock.
He turned around to see who it was. He really didn't need an unexpected visitor at a time like this.
"Wonshik-ah, are you busy right now?" The other peeked inside to see how the rapper is doing.
"Kind of." He just wanted to be alone. "What is it hyung? Why are you here?"
"Oh um... I was just passing by since I finished the drama filming. Are you okay?" The older was very observant by looking at Wonshik's expression and the obvious do-not-disturb atmosphere. He saw the papers lying all over the private studio and couldn't help but pick them up for the younger.
"I'm fine. Just leave them." Wonshik really didn't want to waste time talking because he hasn't even written a single line onto the paper.
"Wonshik-ah. Maybe you should take a break?" The oldest suggested.
A break? I can't afford that. The rapper thought to himself. He was in full self-discipline mode and was set on getting the song completed even if it kills him.
"Hyung. I know you're worried about me and I'm thankful for that but this really isn't the time for that." The younger tried to refuse as politely as he could without losing his patience.
"You haven't been home for awhile now and we all miss you. Even Hyogi isn't liking the idea of suddenly sleeping in the room by himself. Just for one night, maybe you can come home?" The older was trying hard to persuade the younger and it was obvious he was sad that the rapper hasn't been home for who knows how long.
"Hakyeon-hyung..." the rapper obviously knew the other was just worried but he has to refuse. "Please, just let me be."
He couldn't help but look down onto the floor because in truth, if he looked the older in his eyes, he might really end up going home.
The air became silent and the only thing that could be heard was the music that was looping in the studio background.
Hic.
Huh? The younger wondered what that was and decided to look up finally.
"H-hyung!" Wonshik shot up from his spot in surprise.
Hakyeon was standing there in silence but tears streaming uncontrollably down his eyes. He couldn't hold back the sudden sadness he felt inside.
"Hyung, don't cry. You're scaring me here." Wonshik finally decided to approach the leader who suddenly seemed so fragile in his eyes.
He wiped the older's tears away but the tears still fell.
Hakyeon grabbed onto Wonshik's cuffs tightly.
"Come home, please." He said as he tried to voice out the words in between his tears. "It's lonely without you there. We all miss you. I... I miss you."
Wonshik didn't know what to do but as he watched the older become so desperate and small in front of him, he couldn't resist but pull the other in his arms.
"I'm sorry." He apologized.
He wiped the remainder of the older's tears and held him once more in reassurance.
"Let's go home."
