Night VII

Ellen's POV

After five days, Lenalee had finally woken up. During that time, I was bonding with Eunice. We talked about our likes, dislikes, etc. The usual girl talks. It was fun. But at the same time, it made me feel sad knowing what I have to do.

We are currently sitting on a boat and heading towards the Black Order's main headquarters. I brought my golem, Akane, with me. She used her shapeshifting ability and disguised as a pair of opal-studded gold earrings.

When we arrived at the Order, Eunice and Lenalee gave me a tour around the place. During the tour, I bumped into someone while we were on the 4th floor.

"I apologize for bumping into you," I stated.

"Che. Just watch where you're going next time, baka Moyashi," He replied.

A tick mark appeared on my forehead.. When this mission is over, I'm so going to castrate this bastard. I. Am. Not. A. Bean. Sprout. OR. An. Idiot.

"Kanda stop," Lenalee said.

"What did you just call me, BaKanda?" I asked darkly while giving him a nickname. It's only fair since he gave me one after all.

BaKanda seethed as he unsheathed his sword. "Call me that again and I'm gonna murder you."

"I'd like to see you try, BaKanda." And with that he used his sword to attack me; however, I skillfully dodged it with the acrobatic skills I picked up as a clown.

"Missed me." I then used my left hand to punch him in the chest, sending him flying to a nearby post.

"You're dead, Moyashi," He growled as he launches himself to attack me. I used his momentum against him to toss him over the railing. A loud thud was heard as he fell to the ground floor.

"It's probably going to take a while before he wakes up," I stated. Everyone around me stare at me because of what had just transpired.

"Uh – I think we should really get going Ellen-chan." Eunice sweatdropped.

We arrived to a lift taking me who knows where. But I have a feeling that I should temporarily seal my Noah so I did.

We got out of the lift as we reached the bottom. There were some guys with red hoods sitting in the chairs up above. I have to admit they look kind of creepy.

"Lenalee, who are those guys?" I asked.

"They're the Great Generals. They're our higher-ups," Lenalee replied.

"Now, you'll meet Hevleska. Don't worry. She may look scary, but she's actually a nice lady. She also holds all of the Innocence we collect. She's a special type of Exorcist." Eunice said.

All of a sudden, I was lifted into the air by a large tentacle-like object. I start struggling, but I soon calmed down since I remembered that I sealed my Noah.

"Synchronization rate testing. 3%...29%...50%...83%...100%...123%...147%. This girl's maximum synchronization with her innocence is 147%. She is the prophesized 'Destroyer of Time'" Hevlaska said.

'Destroyer of Time. Interesting.'

After that, I went to my new room. When I arrived inside, my jaw dropped. This room needs a total makeover and that crack on the wall needs to be fixed. But I could do it later. Right now, I have to report what I found out to Otou-san using Akane.
