Night XII

Ellen's POV

"GET OFF OF ME?!" Eunice shouted. Everyone quickly started getting off her. Once everyone was no longer on top of her, BaKanda helped her up.

"Welcome to the ark, exorcists," I greeted.

"Noah," Kanda snarled at me. All of the Black Order pests activated their innocence and surrounded Chaoji in a semi-circle.

"Now, now. I'm not here to fight, yet," I stated saying the last part quietly so that no one could hear it.

"Then why are you here, Ellen?" Eunice asked.

I tossed one of Road's keys, which BaKanda caught. "The ark is slowly crumbling apart. If you lot could make it to the top of the tower in the middle, then you will find an exit. To reach there you will need a key which I will give to you. We will be waiting there."

And with that, I left them to their own devices.

Once I got back from greeting our guest, Tyki, Road, Lavi, and I started eating at the dining table filled with food that the AKUMA set up for us at the top floor. I was eating my lunch that looked like it was enough an army for one month when I noticed that something.

"Road, Lavi, are you two together?" I asked.

Road and Lavi stared at me.

"How did you figure it out, Elly-nee?" Road asked in a flummoxed voice.

"You and Lavi are sitting closer than usual," I answered.

The next two hours filled with casual conversation, eating, and a bit of a food fight which started with Lavi accidentally launching a spoon of whipped cream from his pie to my face. Finally, the remainder of the group of subhumans that landed have finally arrived. When Lenalee and Eunice saw Lavi, they were shocked.

"Lavi, what are you doing here?" Lenalee asked with a hint of hurt evident in her voice.

"Panda-Jiji sent me to record the history of this war from the Noah's side," Lavi answered with a hint of annoyance.

'I can't really blame him because Lenalee is really annoying. Not only that, but she is also weak and always has someone either helping her or saving her.'

"We made it to the top. Now, where the bloody hell is that fucking exit that will let us fucking out of this damn place," Chaoji said impatiently.

"Not quite yet, first, you have to defeat Lavi and I," I said.

"But you said – " Chaoji protested.

"Fine then," Eunice cut in as she and Lenalee activate their innocence and charge against us. (A/N: I know Lenalee's Innocence still doesn't work at this time. But...I forgot about that fact until I reread this story. I just decided to leave it as it is.)

Lavi activated the hammer Otou-san made for him while I activated my own innocence. We dodged the incoming attack.

"How are you still able to use innocence when you've sided with the Earl?" Lenalee asked."You should have turned into Fallen Ones."

"That is because I was born with it. When I became a Noah, some of the Dark Matter during my transformation was embedded into my Innocence," I said. I used my Noah ability and coated Clown Belt with electricity making it faster and deadlier.

I attacked Lenalee with it. She was surprisingly able to dodge. Just barely seeing as her uniform now has rips on it. We continued fighting, I mean playing, with the pests for twenty-five minutes before we were interrupted by a gunshot. I looked to see who it was, and I was surprised to see that it was none other than General Cross Marian.

"Ah, General Cross Marian. I wasn't expecting you of all people to be on the ark. It has been a while since we last saw each other." I grinned.

"I agree. Unfortunately, I'm not here to fight with you. I'm here to save these brats from you," Cross said as he pointed at the trio of subhumans.

"How do you plan on doing that?" I asked. The Ark is slowly crumbling apart. There is nothing you could do to stop it."

"The Ark isn't actually breaking. And we both know that fact. This is all just an illusion." Cross said.

I sighed as I pulled out a flute and played a tune. I willed the ark to dispel its' illusion. The ark glowed for a moment before it faded to reveal a whole Ark that wasn't crumbling along with the people that supposedly fell.

"Playtime is over now," A voice stated. I turned around to see Otou-san. I immediately went to tackle him.

"But Millenie, I haven't had some fun yet," Road whined.

"You can go and torture someone after you finish your homework," Otou-san said.

"Fine," Road grumbled before creating a door to let the pests go back to Edo. Once they were gone, she created a door and we entered the new ark.
