When Rease first met Will, she was 3 years old. It was January of 1999. Her father was working as the principal chef at the Amalie Arena, home of the Tampa Bay Lightning. Will was 2 years old and new to Tampa, due to the fact his father, Michael, was just traded from the Calgary Flames. The two quickly became friends, along with Will's older sister, Michelle, who was 4 at the time.
Unfortunately, that friendship didn't last long as Michael was traded in November of 1999 to the Chicago Blackhawks.
However, she never did forget about her short friendship with the young boy.
She reunited with Will when she was 16. She had just moved to Stockholm as he dad got a job working for the Arlanda Wings, an ice hockey team in Sweden. Michael was playing for the team and his family had relocated to Sweden when Will was 14.
When the two reunited they became the best of friends. With this friendship, she found herself falling in love with him. Now, she's 22 and she's finding it hard to keep her feelings for him at bay. She lives with him in Toronto since he plays for the Toronto Maple Leafs
He's currently in a relationship with some girl who treats him like shit and he doesn't realize it

Will and Rease are currently on the couch watching How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and all she can think about is how much she hates seeing Will hurt all because of that dumb bitch. She treats him like shit and Rease is convinced she's cheating on him anyway. She wishes Will would break up with her already and realize that she's always been there for him. She's the one that's in love with him and treat him right. However, she's sure that he only sees her as a friend and that's the depressing part

"Will, you should break up with her!" Rease sighs, as she sees Will fight tears as he just had another argument with his girlfriend.
"I can't. It's not that easy, Rease!" he replies, fighting back tears.
"What is so hard about it? She treats you like shit! You could do so much better than her!" Rease continues, hating to see the man she loves like this.
"Like who, Rease?" he asks.
"Like me, Will! It's always been me! I've been in love with you practically my whole life but you never noticed! Hell, your whole family has, but you never did! I was always just a friend to you and I'm okay with that, but I'm not okay with some bitch mistreating you!" she explains, noticing how his mouth dropped at her confession.

"William!" Rease screams, clutching her towel tightly.
She had just finished showering and came into her room to see Will layed down on her bed, watching TV.
"I'm sorry that I scared you, Rease! You look beautiful, by the way," he replies, noticing how cute she looks with a towel wrapped around her head.
"Thank you, but I literally just came out of the shower. I look like a hit mess," she replies, opening up her drawer to grab some underwear.
"Well you still look beautiful and any guy would be lucky to have you," he replies, getting up from the bed and walking towards her.
"Will, what are you doing?" she asks suspiciously.
"I need to know what my feelings are for you," he replies, taking his hand and cupping her cheek, leaning in closer to her.
"Will, we can't. You have Micaela and I can't let you cheat on her by kissing me," she replies, just the thought of her causing Rease to internally throw up

Rease is sitting in Will's car, waiting for him to come out of Micaela's place, when she notices a furious Will practically running towards the car. She then notices a very distraught Micaela chasing after him.
"Will, I'm sorry! Hear me out!" Micaela pleads, reaching oit to grab his hand.
"There's nothing to explain! You were clearly having fun fucking some other dude!" Will shouts, his face turning red with anger.
"If you can cheat, then I can cheat too!" she shouts back.
"What are you talking about?" he asks in confusion.
"Oh, don't act like you aren't fucking this bitch all the time!" Micaela screams, pointing at Rease.
"First of all, don't you ever disrespect her like that! Second of all, I would never cheat on you or anyone for that matter! If I didn't want to be with you, I would break up, not cheat!" he explains.

"I should've listened to you, Rease. You were always right about her. I was just too dumb to see she was using me for my money," Will sighs, laying down on his bed.
"She's dumb to cheat on someone as incredible as you. Clearly, she didn't deserve someone like you. You were way too good for her anyway," she replies, cuddling into his side.
"I was so blinded by what I thought was love that I didn't see that it was you all along," he replies, before turning over and cupping her face.
"Will-"
"Shh," he replies, interrupting her.
He leans in and slowly presses his lips against hers. She kisses back after a second and after a few minutes, he pulls away.
"Will, don't you think you're moving on too quickly? You were just in a relationship. I don't want to be just a rebound and have it ruin our friendship," she confesses, biting jer lip nervously.
"Oh Rease darling, you're more than just a rebound. You're the one I was always in love with. I was just too dumb to realize it," he replies, before kissing her again.
That night, the two make love to each other in his bed, marking the beginning of a beautiful relationship. His family was estactic because they always knew that Will and Rease were meant to be. They were just waiting for the day Will would realize it too
