Nowhere. Yeah, we're goin' nowhere fast. Maybe this time. I'll be yours, you'll be mine. C-c-c-crazy (crazy). Get your ass in my bed. Baby, you'll be just my summer boyfriend. (Summerboy...)

Jenny just graduated from Rutgers University and is back in her hometown of Salem, New Jersey. She takes a job working at the local Planet Fitness working the reception.

One Thursday evening, she's reading a book when she sees a guy come in and make his way up to her.

"Hi, welcome to Planet Fitness," she smiles at him.

"Hi, I haven't used my membership since last summer. Will it still work?" he asks her.

"Let me check that out for you. Your name please?" she asks him, putting down her book.

She goes to the computer and starts logging in.

"Johnny Gaudreau," he replies, hoping she isn't familiar with the name.

"I feel like I've heard that name before and like I've seen your face on TV before," she replies, taking a good look at him.

"I'm known as Johnny Hockey," he replies, hoping that might ring a bell.

"Oh yeah, you're that hockey player! I saw you on ESPN once, while I was flipping through channels," she smiles, typing away on the computer.

He flashes a warm smile at her, making her lowkey melt.

"Well Johnny, your membership should work still. I'm assuming you're here for the offseason," she replies, activating his membership again so he can use the facility whenever he wants.

They hit it off immediately and before they knew it they were exchanging numbers.

Let's get lost, you can take me home. Somewhere nice, we can be alone. Bikini top's coming o-o-off. Don't be sad when the sun comes down. You'll wake up and I'm not around. I've got to go, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh. We'll still have the summer afterall

A week later, and Jenny is lounging by the pool at Johnny's house. He was throwing a pool party and the place was filled with drunk adults.

After a few beers, Jenny was a lot more animated and lively, dancing like crazy. She was also not leaving much to the imaginatiom with the bikini she had on, which very nicely showed off her assets.

Eventually, it gets late and all the guests leave basically. She helps him clean up after the party, which takes an hour.

"You gonna take me home or should I just crash here?" she asks.

"You should just crash here and I'll take you back tomorrow," he replies.

Minutes later, they end up in Johnny's bed and he's slowly taking off her bikini top in an attempt to undress her slowly. The two go at it for hours, not caring about noise complaints that the neighbors might give. The next morning, he wakes up to an empty bed, meaning she got a ride back somehow on her own.

Sometimes you might start a fight. But I'm happy pretending we're alright. Sunglasses cover up my green eyes. My martini glistens, yeah, while checking out other guys. (Summerboy...)

A week goes by and they are hooking up regularly. They decided to just be a summer thing, nothing serious and no strings attached. They continue that for a couple weeks before deciding to head down to Ocean City for Jenny's 22nd bday.

Jenny is having a grand ole time soaking up all the male attentiom she receives, which Johnny is indifferent too. He doesn't wanna admit it, but he's jealous. He wants Jenny all to himself and doesn't want her with anyone else.

"Johnny what the fuck is your problem?" she asks him as she sits on the bed in their hotel room.

"You keep entertaining all these meatheads!" he groans in frustration.

"No need to be jealous, baby. You're the only one I'm sleeping with anyway," she reassures him with a kiss.

Regardless, she doesn't stop receiving male attention and she even flirts back with guys, knowing it gets Johnny angry.

Hey there, Summerboy. Let's go for a drive. Take me for a ride. Never gonna close our eyes. Hey there, Summerboy. I'm a busy girl. Don't have too much time. Hurry up before I change my mind. Hey there, Summerboy. I'm taking off my heels. Let's go for a run. Have a little summer fu-u-un. Have a little summer fu-u-un. (Summerboy...)

The rest of the summer is spent having fun together. They go out to many places and travel to Phily, Newark, and New York. A lot of times, they just drive down to the Shore.

"Johnny, are you serious about driving down to Miami for the week? You know I have work at the gym," she asks him.

"Dead serious. I'm taking you on an adventure and I already cleared it with your boss," he replies.

They drive down to Miami and Johnny was right about taking her on an adventure. They make it their personal goal to do as many activities as possible during their week there. They even participate in extracurricular activities as well because it wouldn't be a summer fling without it.

Let's get lost, you can take me home. Somewhere nice we can be alone. I have got, my summer-summerboy. Don't be sad when the sun comes down. You'll wake up and I'm not around. I have got, my summer-summerboy. And we'll still have the summer afterall

The months go by like a blur. The two become intoxicated with each other. Jenny is a great distraction for Johnny. Hockey and his life in general can get pretty hectic and he's glad he came back to his hometown. He met the perfect girl to be his summer distraction.

Jenny's life had bedn hectic for a long time. Having recently graduated college, she was looking for one last summer of fun before having to become a real adult and start paying off her student loans. Johnny is the perfect guy to be her summer boyfriend.

Johnny was her summerboy and she was his summergirl. They were perfectly content with having to go their seperate ways once September came along. However, they never did forget about each other and the fun they had together all summer long.
