Reyna watches Zach down another shot at the bar from afar. She hates seeing her best friend so heartbroken. She first met Zach at this same bar the year before when he was a rookie. He was new to Columbus and she was a junior at OSU.

They quickly bonded over sports and became best friends.

"God, I wanna fucking murder her!" she groans, walking up to her best friend.

"Why do girls always cheat on me?" he asks, waiting for the bartender to fill him up with another shot of Henny.

"Because they're fucking stupid and you always fall for the stupid golddiggers," Reyna replies, trying to comfort her best friend.

"I thought she was the one," he sighs, taking another shot of Henny.

"You guys were only together for like 5 months and she sucked you off on your first date. Are you really surprised she was fucking the OSU football team?" Reyna asks him.

"I thought she was different but she ended up being like all the others," he sighs, referring to the string of other failed relationships he's had since becoming a Blue Jacket.

"Fuck Chloe! You need to forget about her and I know the perfect way," she suggests, tired of seeing Zach drown shot after shot of Henny.

"What is it?" he asks, suddenly interested.

"Let me be your rebound," she replies.

"Reyna, you're my best friend! That would ruin our friendship because one of us is gonna catch feelings and I respect you too much to make you a rebound," he explains.

"Zach, this is a win-win sutuation. You get to forget about that dumb bumb bitch you call an ex, and I get to have some fun. You need my love and I need your touch," she reassures him, placing a hand on his bicep.

"But-"

"Shut the fuck up and kiss me, Werenski!" she whines, getting slightly annoyed with how hesitant he's acting.

Zach kisses her and immediately feels sparks. He never thought he would kiss Reyna and enjoy the hell out of it. She drags his slightly tipsy ass out of the bar and takes him to her apartment. Luckily, her roommates are away at a journalism conference.

"Are you sure you really want this, Zach?" she asks, not wanting him to feel pressured to hook up with her.

"I'm positive," he replies, before kissing her feverishly.

"I can't fix your broken heart but I can   make you forget about all the pain tonight," she whispers in his ear.

He nods in understanding before leading her to her bedroom and pushing her gently on her bed.

Things quickly get hot and heavy between them with both of them becoming naked and getting under the sheets. She takes the lead, wanting to make him relax and enjoy the feeling. They spend the rest of the night with their bodies conjoined, going round after round

The next morning, Zach wakes up feeling confused about what happened the night before. He feels the pounding headache and realizes he's at Reyna's place. He also notices he's naked in her bed. He sees she left him food and medicine and a note saying she had to head to campus for practice and classes.

He then remembers the events that took place the night before. He remembers finding out about Chloe's infidelity, going to the bar and drowning shots of Henny, and fucking Reyna for hours. His heart swells at the memory of holding her naked in his arms and feeling loved. That's when he realizes he might be developing romantic feelings for her  even though he's sure she would never feel the same.

The hookup doesn't change their friendship and it ends up becoming a more regular thing. Whenever Zach or Reyna is feeling lonely, they hit each other up for sex.

They begin seeking comfort in each other and it helps Zach get over his feelings of rejection and not receiving love.

In the end, things end up working well for both of them. Zach eventually gets over the dumb OSU girls who just use him for money and popularity because of him being a Blue Jackets player. He ends up finding a girl from back home in Michigan who is perfect for him. Reyna ends up finding a guy from her hometown of Boston who is perfect for her.

They both ended up happy in the end and remained the best of friends. However, neither of them regretted any moment they spent hooking up with each other

So yeah, this was it. This idea came to mind while I was listenin to this song the other day. Zach came to mind because during that particular day I was having some mean Zach feels. (Haley piratesgold and Ally jdebrusks know what I'm talking about)

Anyway, Zach is perfect and such a cutie with some attractive, big ass hands (yes i'm weird af and attracted to big hands. Ally and Haley knows)
