(Early that very same night! Sorry If i get any French wrong in this chapter, I didn't recheck it :3 I know, I'm Lazy)

Lafayette sighed and sat down on the couch, disappointed in himself.

"What's wrong, Lafayette?" Hercules asked, seeing a frustrated French Fry on the couch.

Laf glanced up at Hercules then back down.

"I'm not doing bien in English..." Laf admitted with a sad sigh.

"Are you kidding me?? When you first arrived you could barley say two words in English!! Now you're almost saying whole sentences!" Mulligan stated.

Lafayette understood most of his sentence and smiled, "I guess you're right, Mon Ami."

"Pfft, of course I'm right!" Hercules laughed, taking a seat next to Laf of the couch.

They sat in silence for a few seconds.

"John kissed Alexander..." Lafayette whispered, completely changing the subject.

"What?!" Hercules looked surprised, "ALREADY?"

Laf slowly nodded. His knees were tucked up to his chest.

Lafayette looked over at Hercules and Hercules looked back at Lafayette. They stared into each other eyes.

"Do you think that's weird?" Lafayette questioned.

"Wha- no. Of course I don't. Do you?"

"Non. I don't think I do en tous cas." Laf seemed a little confused.

Hercules look at him bit worried.

Lafayette's eyes sparkled, "I mean I think your attirant."

Lafayette turned bright red and looked away. He clearly regretted saying anything.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to say that out loud," Laf whispered.

Mulligan didn't know what "attirant" meant but he still blushed because of Laf's reaction.

"What does that mean?" Mulligan asked curiously.

"Ah nothing you have to worry about, Mon chéri..." Laf smugly booped Mulligan on the nose.

Hercules was flustered and confused with all the mixed signals he was receiving.

Thomas appeared from the hallway.

"Hey," Jefferson greeted with a wave.

"Hey, Jefferson!" Lafayette, smiled. He got up from the couch and joined Jefferson in the kitchen, leaving Hercules alone in the living room.

You could hear them snickering and whispering to each other. Most of it seemed to be in French.

Hercules did his best to eavesdrop but did't understand a word.

Alexander came out of his room, visibly tired.

Mulligan pulled Alexander over to him and whispered, "Translate what they're saying."

"Uhh ok..."

"alors, Lafayette, que penses-tu de Mulligan?" Thomas teased.

Alex translated for him, "He said, 'So, Lafayette, what do you think about Mulligan?"

Hercules face lit up in shock. "They're talking about me?" He asked.
