Chapter 15: Too Much Sauce

Percy's POV

Last week was entirely too much to handle for both Wyatt and I. While I buried my head in the books because I was coming up in my last semester of nursing school, Wyatt just took the week to chill at home and do what he does second best... Shop. But today was the day that he leaves for his oral  board, my baby's gonna be gone for two days and this would be the longest time we've spent apart so I had to send him off with nothing but love. I walked into the bedroom with a tray full of his favorite food that I whipped up this morning. I had a shrimp and veggie omelette with a little jack pepper cheese sprinkled on top, my momma's homemade biscuits with strawberry jelly, three pieces of bacon and an extra large glass of orange juice because that nigga is thirsty as fuuuuccccckkkk.  LMAO. Nah, I'm kidding, the only thing he be thirsty for is all this loving. Every time I walked in his, I mean our bedroom, I couldn't help but be taken back by how beautiful he had everything set up. Aside from the cream that he had throughout the house, he did the two of the four walls a rich maroon and the other two a flat gray. All the furniture was white, including the spread with it's few gray patterns. And then there were the arrangement of flowers he had around the room, each week something different. This week we had back orchids and the way they played against the maroon was absolutely breath taking. 

I tried to wake him opening all the drapes in the master suite and let the sun bounce off the maroon walls and the white furniture. He was covered with the huge fur throws and countless pillows we had on the bed, that boy loves all the fluffiness surrounding him. As I walked over to him with the breakfast tray I gently climbed in the bed slowly place each knee in one at a time. 

"Baaabbyyy." I sang

This nigga didn't even nudge.

I moved closer and leaned over him to say it in his ear. "Come on baby, time to wake up papi."He started to move but after about 15 seconds he went back to being still and not responding. 

"Alexa, play Too Much Sauce by Chloe and Halle."  knew that he was definitely gonna get up now. As the song came to the chorus, he turned around and sat up smiling with eye boogers and a little bit of slob dripping. 

"Eeeww, you look like you slept reealll good." I said laughing and placing the tray in front of him.

He smiled big and then wiped his eyes and looked down at the tray. "Are these..??" he asked excitedly.

I shook my head yes real fast and smiled. H e took a bite into the biscuit and melted right there. 

"I. HAVE. MISSED. THESE. SO. MUCH!" he said he tore that biscuit up. 

Him, excited by something so simple as a recipe I got from my mom made me the happiest man on the planet. I knew that the decision I was making was the absolute right one. 

I kissed him on the forehead. "Well enjoy my love, I've got a few things I need to handle real quick and then I'll be back to take you to the airport. Are you all paced up and ready to go?"

He looked around the room and took the last bit of his biscuit and mumbled. "Yeah, my bags are in my closet all packed up and ready to go. I'll put them by the door so we ca just grab and go."

One more kiss on the cheek. "Okay cutie. I'll be back in about an hour and a half."

I walked into my closet, yes we have out own closets, and grabbed my coat and my new J's that he bought me. My baby was always keeping me fresh. I walked back in the bedroom to see him flicking through channels and stuffing his face with that omelette, he was too damn cute. When I got downstairs I reached in the key box which we had hidden by a small picture frame on the wall.  Wyatt actually had in installed within the wall, and you would never guess that it was actually there. I grabbed the key to the Wrangler, which by the way is White with Royal blue interior, custom six inch lift and huge off road tired. I took off the roof and the doors and hit the city to go do a little shopping of my own.
