Wyatt's POV
Having to do oral boards was a breeze, I was a confident doctor who knew my specialty well and how to execute an appropriate and thorough plan. I was sure that I had passed, I just wasn't sure that Tiffany and I would ever get thongs back on track again. The entire time we were in Boston we didn't speak, and when we saw each other, we both turned and went into the other direction. How could over ten years of friendship end in a flash of an eye? On the flight back home, I watched movies and talked to Percy on Facetime to make sure he remembered he was picking me up, but they was he rushed me off had me feeling like he was up to something. Once we landed and were off the plane, I headed over to baggage claim to get my bags and felt a tap on my shoulder.
                              "Hey."
I turned to see that it was Tiff with a slight smile. "Hey, wussup."
"I can't keep walking around and not speaking to you, I want to say that I am so sorry. Sorry for what I said about Percy, I should have never came at you like that and I'm extremely sorry for the way I responded, I was out of line and I know yo may not even believe me but I needed to apologize for hurting you Percy."
She was almost in tears and all I wanted to do was hug her, so I did just that. "Its all good girl. I knew eventually you'd come to your senses."
We shared a laugh and broke from the hug.
"You are my sister, and yes the shit you said hurt me deep, but I forgive you. You know it has nothing to do with the fact that you're happy or dating right? We just want you to be safe. And besides, we can't have you out here putting stress on my little nugget in their." I said rubbing her belly.
She smiled with a hint of sadness. "No, I got my period yesterday, literally while I was in the middle of boards."
Damn, I'm sorry...I know you were so excited. I can't say I know how you feel because I don't, but you have my love and support foreal. How's he taking it?
                              "He doesn't know."
                              "Why havent you....WOOOOAAAAHHH"
Percy had snatched me up from the back and was twirling me around like a damn rag doll... no lie I loved that shit, but damn, can we prepare a nigga.
"I HAVE MISSED YOU SO DAMN MUCH."
I tried with to come closer to his ear so that I cold whisper but that shit aint work. "Nigga put me down! White people are looking at you!"
Tiffany sicked her teeth and laughed. "Okay Wanda Sykes."
Percy laughed along and finally put my down. "How was y'all flight?"
"It was cool." Tiff and I both said in unison. We looked at each other and laughed.
Percy just looked back and forth at us. "So y'all good now?"
Tiffany grabbed my arm and we shared a smile with one another. "Yeah, we good."
Man that's so great! I was praying that y'all would work it out and be like a family again. By the way, Tiff what you got going today?
"Uh, nothing actually. I was gonna catch a cab back to the house and finish watching Sense 8 on Netflix.
"You aint finished that shit yet?!?!? GIIRRRRLLLLL I can't wait for season 3!
But why that have to switch out the black dude, like y'all know that ain't right!!
                              "I'm saying though, and..
Percy stepped up and interrupted us. "Ladies, ladies... Can we get back to me?"
I rolled me eyes and looked at Tiff who was laughing herself.
