Terrances POV
I heard the code and ran into the room to find an ER tech standing over Percy and doing chest compressions.
I got on the other side of the gurney. "What happened?"
He stood there pumping his arms into Percy's chest, sweat was dripping off his forehead. "He went asystole and stopped breathing."
As he continued to do chest compressions, I got the bag mask and started to give him oxygen. A few nurses came in and then the doctors followed.
Dr. Bennet walked in the room and placed his hands on my shoulders. "You shouldn't be in here. I know he's your friend and you want to help, but this isn't the best position for you to be in right now."
I looked him dead in his eyes and said nothing. I could tell by the change in his expression that he knew there was no moving me out of this room. Percy was my brother and I'd be damned if I didn't do everything in my power to save him; I owed that to him, and I owed that to Wyatt.
Dr. Bennet left my side, and went to stand at the head of the bed. "Push 1 of epi and continue CPR."
We were moving and working in unison, everyone was doing what they could to save him. You could feel the passion in the room, everyone was determined to save this life.
"Hold CPR." Bennet said as he felt for a pulse. He looked up at the monitor. "Still no rhythm or pulse, push another epi." he said continuing to holding Percy's neck, feeling for a pulse."
I saw that the tech was getting tired, so I switched out with him. They intubated him and we continued until we got a pulse.
"Alright everyone, he's breathing. We need to get him up to surgery. Open up OR 2, I want Neuro to go first and then ortho. Cardio, I want you to do a full workup the moment he is out of surgery and have a standby just incase. "
We rushed out of the room and went straight for the elevators to get him to the OR.

Wyatt's POV
This truly ended up being the c-section from hell. She coded twice and that was after I cauterized the bleeder, but once Dr. Hall started to massage the heart, things were beginning to look up. I was done on my end and had finished closing her up.
"How's it going up there?"
She sighed, but I could tell she was smiling behind the mask. "Good, I'll admit she had me worried for a moment, but we're good. I'm about to close in a moment. I can actually finish up and you can go update the husband if you want."
"Are you sure, I'd feel bad leaving you incase anything were to happen."
She looked over at me and cocked her head to the side. "Boy, I'm an attending. You may be phenomenal, but you aint the only one."
"Haha, ok. Come find me when you're done."
I updated Jacob and sat down at the nurses station to chart before I went to check up on the baby in the NICU.
"Dr. Bradshaw."
I looked up and saw Dr. Bennet standing there with both Terrance and Bobby at his side. The looks on their faces was enough to frighten the toughest man walking.
"Sir?"
He looked at Terrance and then back at me. "I need you to come with me."
I got up right away and walked with him. We got on the elevator and headed up to the 3rd floor. Once we got off, there was a few attending there, department heads to be exact and it took me by surprise. The fact that it's about 9pm and they are still here told me right away that there was a problem.
