Telling the girls

Elena POV

The next day they flights delayed were going to depart some and Damon got dressed and went to the airport. We didn't sleep in the same bed because we want to things slow and not rush into it. We went into the airport and checked in. When we heard my flight calling it was time to say goodbye. My flight was 30 minutes before Damon's. He kissed a long passionate kiss and hugged me.

Damon: I can do it now that you are my girlfriend!

Elena: Yes you can and I can do this *touched his ass*

Damon: Uhhh never have imagined you this dirty!

Elena: I am always filled with surprises. *smirks*

Suddenly I hear the last call to my flight so I said a last goodbye and left. I plan to tell the girls about me and Damon when I arrive home. They will be so surprised! This will be my first time not seeing Damon for a while since we are roomates.

The flight was an hour long and when I arrived I grabbed my luggage and searched for my mum. I found her with my brother waiting for me at the gate. I ran up to them and hugged them. I told them ho much I missed them. They told me they postponed Christmas dinner and that we are going to do it today so we will all be together even Caroline, her mum, Bonnie and her parents are joining us.

On the way home I told them about my life at college. I didn't mention Damon because it is still too early. We arrived home and hugged my dad. I was starving so mum made me some sandwiches. Mum was still cooking for the dinner so I decided to help her. 

Elena: What can I do to help?

Mum: It's ok honey you should relax. You are the guest after all! Why don't you go unpack?

After I unpacked I helped my mum because I insisted on helping her so she told me to mash the potatoes and take care of the vegetables while my brother the table. Afterwards I played a video game with Jeremy. I won! Suddenly my phone started ringing, it was Damon. I went into my bedroom and facetimed him.

We talked for an hour about how Damon received a bracelet from Stefan and perfume from his parents he even saw his grandparents which gave him some money. They had just finished lunch. He also told me how much he loved his mum's cooking and how much he missed it. \i also told him what i did and that I had to go because I was going to change. 

Damon: Why don't you leave mo on facetime while you undress *smirks*

Elena: Damon!!

Damon: Ok ok! I love you!

Elena: Love you too!

After I showered and changed into a lacy purple dress with long sleeves and purple heels. I curled my hair and wore the necklace Damon gave me. It was so beautiful. I wore matching bracelet and earrings. I did my make-up and went downstairs to find aunt Jenna at the door. I ran up to her and hugged her. She used to babysit me when I was little when my parents had a business trip or a date night.

We chatted for a bit and guests started arriving. Bonnie ans Caroline arrived together and we exchanged gifts but were going to open them after dinner. I grabbed their wrists and took them to my room.

Bonnie: What's going on?

Elena: I have something to tell you!

Caroline: What is it?! Come on spill!

Elena: Damon and I are together!

Caroline and Bonnie: OMG!! CONGRATULATIONS! *hugged each other*

I told them the whole story and both of them were really happy for me. I also told them not to mention Damon in front of my family.  After we went downstairs to join the rest for dinner. I helped my mum bringing out the food on the table. Dinner was delicious we all chatted and had a good time. After dinner we went to open the presents.  

I received some amazing gifts for everyone. I received a new laptop from my parents because the one I have is giving me trouble typing on it. A cute bracelet from my brother, a pink sweater from Bonnie and a pair of earring from Caroline and a burgundy dress with spaghetti straps from Aunt Jenna. I thanked everyone and was pleased with presents I gave them.   

Afterwards my mum gave everyone a piece of Christmas log and a mug of hot chocolate and watched a movie in the living room. Everyone started to leave and decided to meet at the grill tomorrow for lunch.
