Moving In

Elena POV

After graduation I started working as a nurse in a hospital near Damon's family company which made it easy for us to move in together as we were woring close by at first I was staying at my Aunt Jenna's apartment and Damon at his family's house as we didn't have enough money to buy an apartment. Caroline and Klaus live in the same city while Bonnie and Enzo live an half an hour away so we still meet every weekend to hang out.

In a  few weeks Bonnie and Enzo are taking a trip to New Zeland for 2 months and we will miss them very dearly while Klaus opened an art shop and Caroline works as a high school teacher and they lived on top of Klaus' shop. Caroline 's school was near the hospital so we meet very easily when we are on breaks during work we meet at a nearby shopping mall which is exciting.

After 7 months trying to earn money to buy an apartment we successfully did it. We found an apartment with was a decent size in the outskirts of the city which was a 20 mintues drive from the hospital and 25 from Damon's business so it was the perfect apartment. When we bought the apartment we were on pins and needles to move in however we still needed to buy furniture so we decided to buy the furniture and then move in so I had to stay my Aunt's place for another 2 months. 

I loved to stay at my Aunt but I couldn't wait to live in my own place with the man I deeply love. Bit by bit the apartment was becoming complete and I decided to go shopping with Caroline for cutlery and kitchen ware. However first we needed to say goodbye to Bonnie and Enzo as it was the day of the departure. We were going to miss them as we were never apart for a long time. We hugged deeply and longingly and were close to tears.

Elena: Be careful ok and have fun!

Bonnie: Thank you! I will miss you guys so much!

Caroline: Send us pictures of your trips!

Bonnie: Yes I promise!

After that emotional goodbye Bonnie intertwined her hand with Enzo's and off they went on the escalator waving the last goodbye. Damon nor Klaus couldn't come to say goodbye as they had work but the night before we threw a party for Bonnie and Enzo. I know it was only 2 months but I couldn't wait for the day when they come back. I hope they have a lot of fun and adventures.

Afterwards we went to find things for my apartment we went to different shops until we bought everything we needed. Afterwards we decided to have brunch in a nearby restaurant. I ordered a chicken salad and a chocolate frappe while Caroline ordered pancakes with a strawberry smoothie. 

Caroline: So how are the long hours at the hospital?

Elena: Sometimes they are tiring but I am getting used to it! Over all I am glad I chose nursing becuase I am loving my job. How about you?

Caroline: Well some of the kids can be a pain in the ass and are very rude but most of them are ok. 

Elena: There will always be the assholes in every class!

Afterwards we ate our food and went to my apartment to put everything in place. We decided that tomorrow it was time to start packing and moving our belongings here which we were so excited about. While Caroline was helping me put everything in placvce the door oppened and it turned out to be Damon and Klaus. Afterwards Caroline and Klaus left and Damon continued helping me. 

Damon: Can't wait for tomorrow! Can we sleep here tomorrow? 

Elena: Yeah! Of ocurse we can as today the mattress arrived! It is so comfy!

Damon: *grabs her waist* We are going to have so much fun on it!

Elena: Of course *pecks his lips*

That evening we met with Klaus and Caroline to watch a movie and afterwards we went bowling. It ended with Damon winning among us and Caroline losing.

The next day I woke up early and packed my belongings I gave my aunt a present for letting me stay with her and it was a bottle of perfume. She thnaked me and told me that I can visit her at anytime I want. She helped me put the boxes in my car and off I went. 

I was the first to arrive at the apartment and started to unpack the boxes. Seems that Damon was still sleeping or packing at his parents' house however 90% that he was still sleeping.  After I had been in the apartment unpacking Damon and his brother Stefan came in carrying boxes. 

Elena: About time to start unpacking Damon.

Stefan: Somebody overslept and if I hadn't woke him up he would still be sleeping

Damon: Shut up Stefan!

Elena: Like I don't know you overslept like usual! Remember we have been 4 years dating. 

Stefan: Mum prepared some food for you two! 

Elena: Aww that is so sweet tell her thank you!

Stefan: Do you want any help?

Damon: We are fine Stefan you already helped with the boxes! 

Stefan: Ok bro. I will be leaving then bye!

Elena: Bye!

Unpacking took a lot of time as we had a lot of stuff and still needed to put some stuff in place. We only took a break to eat lunch that Damon's mum made for us. We finished unpakcing at 7 in the evening and we were both exhausted. We decided to order chinese take away which didn't take long to arrive. We still needed to buy a television so we ate the take away in front of Damon's laptop watching something on it. It wasn't the best but that is what we had.

Damon: You know what?

Elena: What?

Damon: We should try that new mattress we bought to see how comfy it is.

Elena: It isn't a bad idea.

We put went to the bedroom and Damon immediately pinned me on the bed and started kissing me passionately. He  kissed my jaw and went down to my neck. He hovered and on top of me and took of the top I was weairng and kissed my stomach. He unhooked my bra and I took off his shirt. We took off each other's clothes that even the underwear ended up on the floor. My hands were going up and down his back while  his hands were in my hair. He postioned himself to enter and he slowly entered however he immediately fastened up the pace. Moans which I couldn't stop came out from my mouth and my nails dug in his back. 

After that hot make out session we slept in each others embrace and that is how we spent our first night in our apartment.
