Lilium didn't know exactly what to do. She just walked to the top of the building to where she would find Lox. She looked down at her small hands and picked up the gun she had. It didn't feel like her at all, but she couldn't help it. Lox had to be killed. If she could hire someone to do it for her, she would.
The wind outside began to whip so hard she swore a tree knocked over. The faint sound of talking could be heard so Lilium knelt down and looked around. She looked to the left and saw nothing. The right was empty as well. Her heart calmed down as she started walking forward and up the final steps to Lox's main lab. She was created here. She wasn't sure how she would feel once she returned and saw the tubes again.
A small bang from inside the room was heard. Lilium took in a deep breath and slowly opened the door to the lab. It only took a second for her to spot Lox talking to a girl dressed up in all black.
"You listen to me, girl. I saved you by giving you to my daughter. You will repay me by making sure that Lilium dies. Don't let her find out about William."
A twitch in her heart made Lilium burst into the room. She aimed the gun at his head and pulled the trigger. Lox quickly pushed the girl to the side and then ducked, just barely missing the bullet.
"Get her!" Lox instructed, running to a seemingly large object that was under a blanket. The girl shrugged and got up. She lunged at Lilium. With only seconds to spare, Lilium dodged the sword that the other girl pulled out. The girl grabbed her and pinned her to the wall. She lifted her sword and swung at her.
"That's enough! Let her watch this."
Lilium looked at Lox and he smirked. He took the blanket off of the object, revealing a cage. Lilium screamed out as she realized who was in it.
"Father!"
"He's not dead? Really?" The girl in all back asked, pushing her hood off.  She had bright golden eyes.
"No, he's not. The other body was just a clone of him. This is the real Veta. The other one was supposed to lead you here so I could finish you off. I did it the night you became stronger. You wanted to come after me so I took Veta and made a second one. It's all in my plan. He left so I have to get rid of everything he loves, including you. I'll finish off with him," Lox explained, ripping tape off of Veta's mouth.
"Lilium! Don't worry, we can make it!" Veta assured his child. The only thing that could be heard was Lox's laughter.
"Do you really think it'll be so simple? Very well, then. Let's get this over with. Let her go."
The strange girl with gold eyes didn't move.
"I said, let her go!" Lox demanded. The girl turned as she put her hood back on.
"I'm my own leader now."
With a quick movement, she stole Lilium's gun and shot Lox through the stomach. He fell with a thud. Lilium's eyes grew wide.
"Don't be too surprised. He's not dead, but he's unconscious. I'd get out of here within the next half hour. Gather your friends."
"What? What do you mean he's not dead?" Veta asked the girl.
"Trust me. He can't die from that. He drank some potion a while ago so he can't die easily. It takes a lot to kill him. Once he gets hit, his heart is covered with a shell after a second. The only way to kill him is to make a critical hit through the heart that will kill him instantly. Good luck, he's been alive for a hundred years and nobody can kill him yet."
Lilium ran to the cage and opened it. Veta pulled her up and hugged her as tightly as he could. He stood and put her back down.
"Thank you," Lilium told the girl.
"Don't mention it. I'm sick of him. He's thinks I'm really his granddaughter just because his kid is my legal guardian. Welp, I better go before he wakes us or I'll be locked in the room again for a week. Bye!" The girl opened the window and began to leave.
"Wait!" Lilium called out to her, "what's your name?"
The girl seemed to think for a minute.
"Now that's a question I would love to know the answer to."

Veta took Lilium's hand and brought her down the stairs. He knelt beside her and checked her face, arms, and legs.
"Are you hurt? Any injuries? Do you feel okay?" He quickly asked her. Her head began to spin from all the questions.
"I'm fine, dad," she said, looking down at the floor. "Let's go get the others." She went to walk forward but was stopped.
Veta picked her up and carried her down the steps. Lilium didn't argue this time.
They entered the room where she last saw her friends. Something was off, however. Only Cale and Formosa were sitting there.
"Where is Noir?" Lilium paused and realized another person wasn't there.
"Kiki!" She yelled out. Veta put her down and she ran around trying to find the girl.
"Kiki? She's here?" Veta asked.
"She was kidnapped! Lox took her here and I found her and she thinks your dead and... and... I yelled at her," Lilium broke down for the first time in a while.
"Hey, it's alright. We'll find her. Calm down," Veta said, putting a hand on her shoulder.
"Chill, she's over there reading some note she found," Cale told them. Kiki was sitting in the corner with a piece of paper.
"Why didn't you answer me? You gave me a-"
"Sis, he's gone," Kiki cut her off. Lilium paused and bent beside her sister. She took the note and read it.

Dear Friends,
Well, I guess this is the end. I'm sorry I had to resort to this but I can't live with myself anymore. I'm under the control of Lox. Unless he dies, I can't break free. I'm doing this so I don't hurt you guys. I hope you understand.
Professor Veta, I'm happy that you were so strong to help us and I hope you're safe. Even if it wasn't you, the clone had your heart. You're a good person.
Cale, I don't know what to say. You've been my friend for a while now. I guess I never really told you my secrets but I guess you know it was too dangerous. I hope you appreciate this. You're like my brother and I'll always think of you that way.
Kiki, I only remember you when you were little as Cale's baby cousin. You have changed quite a bit. You may not remember me, since we last met when you were four, but you have a long life ahead of you. Continue with your writing, you're a talented young girl.
Formosa, forget our last name. It's kind of dumb, alright? Weiss, you're my twin sister and I will always be there for you even in the after life. I'm sure we will meet again one day and this time we'll be with mom and dad. I love you, sis.
Okay... here we go.
Lilium... I love you. More than a friend. I know you're pain. I only knew you for a short while but I wish I kissed you when I got the chance. That might have been too much for you to handle. I'll say it once more before I go. I love you.
Well, I guess it's my time. Goodbye everyone. Don't miss me too much!
Your's Until the End,
Copper "Noir" Formosa
