A/N: So the story was supposed to end at the last chapter but if I want to make a sequel I have to show what happens to Lilium in order for you to understand the next book. I'll probably add am epilogue or two after this. Thanks for reading!

Everything was dark and grim. There was a small, familiar beeping noise that made Lilium want to open her eyes to see where she was, but she couldn't. For some reason, she didn't have control over her body. It seemed like she was out of her body, like her soul was off somewhere and only her mind could live on. Fear filled her heart as she realized she did this to herself. It was her fault that she wasn't awake.

Someone entered the room she was in, wherever she may have been. The footsteps were echoing which indicated she was in a big, sort of empty room. A hospital room then? Since her bedroom had plenty of furniture at her uncle's house, it had to have been a new place.

"It's been seven months now, Lilium. Why don't you wake up? Take my hand?" This voice was obviously her little sister. What was Kiki thinking about this whole situation? Was she mad? Lilium wished to take her hand, to just tell her sister that everything was okay. Or maybe she just wished to be dead instead. Either way, Lilium didn't want to be where she was at that moment.

"I guess you can't take my hand ether way. You're in some sort of tank."

It was then that Lilium heard bubbles around her popping and some sort of swishing noise. Was she in a lab? Oh God, anything but that, she thought to herself. There was a moment of silence in the room and everything seemed to go dead.

"The twins were born. They're... okay, I guess. I want you back, though. It's almost summer and when I'm done with school I have to go to the high school. I want you to be there with me. It's really scary without you here with me. Please wake up. Dad said the chemicals could work any day now."

Lilium tried and tried again to open her eyes so much that she felt her body begin to shake. A slight noise came from Kiki and soon Lilium's eyes burst open. All around her was a purple chemical. Looking down she noticed that her hair was no longer purple, but it was now back to its original deep brown color with natural red highlights. Were her eyes still purple?

"Dad!" Kiki screamed out the door, running back to put her hand on the tank.

Soon, Veta burst through the door and stood in front of the tank. "Lilium, oh my God! You're awake!" He took a fluid drainer and plugged it into the big tank, sucking out the chemicals quickly and efficiently. Lilium slowly fell to the floor and Kiki unhooked the door, throwing it open. Veta lunged for her, picking her up and bringing her to the bed in the corner. It must have been some sort of secret room in the mansion.

"Don't move too much, your neck is still weak. It'll take a couple weeks of movement to make sure it is completely on."

Lilium didn't know if she heard it right. Had she actually decapitated herself with a razor? Seeing her suspicion, Veta spoke up. "I mean, I had to take your neck and head off to fix the wounds. You're a clone anyway, it's natural for you. However, you have to do it a certain way. One day, I'll explain more. For now, tell me how you feel."

"Fine," Lilium said with a hoarse voice. She was aching a little but besides that she didn't feel so strange. Maybe a little tired.

"Now that you're awake, we have news. Kiki, go get your mom," Veta grew perky and took Lilium's hands. Kiki skipped off and returned a few moments later with Akira.

"Oh, Lilium! I'm so happy!" Akira and Lilium clung to each other momentarily before Lilium asked what the news was. What could they possibly be so excited to tell her about? She hoped for the best.

"You want to get out of here, start a new life?" Veta asked, smiling with a big smile. Where was this going? As her heart began to skip beats, Lilium gave her family a small smile as they gathered around her lovingly.

"We are going to get a luxury apartment downtown! They fall them flats here, though. It's 3 bedrooms, so I hope you don't mind sharing a room with Kiki. The twins will have to share as well."

"Yeah, turns out they're both boys," Kiki pouted, "But I have you back, so that's okay!"

Was this for real? "Of course I'll share with her! I don't want to be alone ever again!" Tears sprang to the young girl's eyes as her little sister hugged her gently. They were going to be a real, normal family.

"I'm glad you agree. We can buy you a piano for the living room. There's a lake, a pool, a good community, and so much more! We can even buy a puppy and a kitten. It'll be so perfect!" Akira exclaimed, bouncing up in excitement.

Maybe this could be the new beginning. Was Lox pathetic enough to come back for a battle he know he'll lose again? He had other things to worry about. Veta was no harm to him unless Lox tried anything with his family, so why bother? All Lilium knew was that by the end of summer, she'd be enrolled in a good school and they would all have a new beginning.
