Lilium slowly opened her eyes to a dark room. She couldn't make out anything besides some big object in the middle of the room. She began to wonder where she was and what happened to the others. Soon she began to worry about what would happen to her.
A small laugh could be heard somewhere off in distance. Lilium tried to call out to whoever it was but couldn't get a word out. Footsteps began to take the place of the laughter until somebody was right in front of Lilium. She fought against the darkness and tried to see who it was. For half a second her vision cleared. It only took that half a second to find out who this person was.
"Lilium, isn't it a pleasure to be here again? I find it lovely! Maybe you're wondering where your friends are. Well, I'll be honest when I tell you I don't know about them. However, Veta is not your friend. He's your father, so I do know about him."
"Lox," Lilium said, slowly regaining her voice. She struggled to move but she was tied to the wall. Lox laughed again and walked over to the object in the center of the room.
"Now then, Lilium. Are you ready to go back in the tank?"

Veta hurriedly went through the files on his computer. He had to find a way to stop Lox from controlling Lilium. He was stuck in his office. Maybe he could find the files he needed to find out how to stop the experiment. He was being forced by Lox to do it or else Lilium would be killed. The door unlocked and Veta quickly read the file before shutting his computer off. He stood as the door opened. Lox stepped in.
"Come on."
The walk down the stairs was short. The tension between them was at its peak. Veta reminded himself that he needed the blue chemical. This was his only chance.
He almost lost it at the sight of Lilium back in that tank. She was knocked out cold. Veta sighed as Lox began putting chemicals into the test tube. When he wasn't looking, Veta poured the chemical he needed into the opposite side. This would prevent the serum from working. The two stood back and the green water turned to a light purple.
Veta couldn't help but stare in awe. Lilium looked so different. Purple was her signature color, definitely. However, she wouldn't open her eyes. Lox was getting irritated.
"Did it not work? This is all a lie! Mind control, ha!" He threw the paper down that had the ingredients on it.
Veta smirked silently and looked at his phone as Lox watched the tank. He sent Noir a text.

Veta: Get in your positions. This has to go right, no messing around, no second chances.

Noir: Cale,my sis, and I got this! But what about you?

Veta: Don't worry about me. Remember what I told you. Make it believable!!!

Noir: Yes, sir

When Lilium opened her eyes again she saw people looking over her. These three were Cale, Formosa and Noir.
"Where is he? Where's my dad?" He asked.
"Calm down, Lilium. He's okay. He got a note from Aunt Akira. He's really mad. He went to talk to Lox," Cale explained.
"Why?" Lilium asked her cousin.
"Lox kidnapped Kiki. She's somewhere in the facility. We were right about the location."
Lilium looked at Noir. He was holding back tears.
"Hey. Are you alright?" Lilium asked him.
"Are you?"
His words made Lilium's heart beat faster.
"Yeah."
Noir hugged her. His sister looked at them with a small smile.
"Weiss, don't look!" Noir laughed nervously.
"Weiss?" Cale asked him.
"Oh, Formosa's real name is Weiss. Formosa is actually our last name. Since she doesn't like her name we just call her that. It's weird, I know," Noir told them. He still held onto Lilium.
Suddenly they heard a scream. Lilium jumped up along with the rest of them.
"That was Kiki! We have to find them, now!"
The group of teenagers ran up the steps from the basement of the facility all the way to the top floor. Sure enough, they saw what they feared most.
Kiki was against the wall, her hands covering her face. She was crying. On the floor beside her was Veta. There was knife next to him and blood covered his body. He was dead.
