Finn's hand, throughout the whole trip, was lacing with my hand. I kept glancing at Izzat, remembering the weird way he walked and how much pain he looked like he was in. Too afraid to ask, I look forward and try to forget about him. We finally arrived at the hotel, about 85 floors to the roof. Noah's driver dropped us off at the entrance of the hotel. Sunglasses as disguises, we entered the hotel lobby.
Unfortunately, a group of five people, recognized us and started to freak out.
"Is that them?" one of them, a brown-haired girl asked her friends.
"I don't know! You ask them!" a blonde-haired girl exclaimed. They whole group started bickering but one person was not participating in their argument. He sighed and rolled his eyes before approaching us in a calm manner.
"I'm sorry for bothering you guys, but are you the cast of Stranger Things? My friends are too shy to ask." he asks us. We looked at one another before Finn answered. "Yes, we are."
The whole group started to freak out except the person who asked us. He rolled his eyes at them and turned to face us. "Sorry, you have to excuse my friends, they're major ST fans. I'm not saying I'm not one, I am. It's just that, you're just normal people. Only special if you make it." Izzat looked at him with satisfaction on his face, like he founded someone else that understands him.
The group hesitantly walked over to us, tittering with excitement. "Ca-can we take a picture with y-you guys?" one of them mumbled nervously. Gaten smiled, showing his fake teeth. "Of course you can! But you can't tell or post anything on the internet, y'know? Other fans and paparazzi will be the death of us." They all nodded in agreement.
Izzat and me stepped out so they can take a picture but one of them turned to me. "Aren't you Finn's girlfriend? You are so lucky! Come take a picture with us too!" the girl asked me. I look at Izzat and he nodded. I reluctantly went to the cast and group of fans.
The fans took more than a couple pictures, with all of us, and then with each of us. The guy who asked us, his name supposedly Rick, took only the group picture. He went next to Izzat and sparked up a conversation with him. After they finished taking pictures, they left us and wished us a good day.
"That guy was cool, like my secret twin. He's got respect." Izzat says to me. Noah checked in and lead us to the elevator. Although the elevator was big, it was pretty cramped, with all our bags and stuff. The pool was on the roof, so it took a while to get up there. There was a soothing but, kind of, cliche, awkward elevator music.
"Hey, Emmy," Izzat looks at her and she looks back at him, "what are we on right now?"
She looked kinda confused. "An elevator?"
"Nope! An El-evator!"
All of us laughed at his horrible joke. Emmy just rolled her eyes but I could see her smile. Apparently, Izzat took that as an opportunity and winked at her. She falters and looks away, maybe hiding her blush but I couldn't see. Izzat smirks at her flustering when the elevator doors gave a little ding!
Unfortunately, the elevator did not take us all the way to the roof, only a couple floors under. While we walked up the extra few steps, I kept thinking how Emmy looked away when Izzat just winked at her. Does she like him? They would make a cute couple. Oh my god, I need to tell the rest. I look back at Izzat, still having that weird limp walk. They will probably be obsessed on trying to get them together. This will be fun. And it might take off suspicion to Finn about our... moments, but like he said, it will never happen again and it won't happen.
Noah opened the roof door to be greeted by a gigantic pool, filled with shimmering blue, chlorine water. There was nobody there except us, just like Noah promised.
