Before Finn had to leave for the night, I gave a small peck on his cheek.

"You missed." he pointed to his lips. I roll my eyes at him.

"Maybe next time, Wolfhard." his face looked so sad when I said that. I lean in anyway and give him a 5 second kiss.

"Okay, better," he then points at Izzat, sitting on a chair, "don't you dare do anything to her."

"Yeah, sure." Izzat chuckles lightly.

After he left, I grab a chair and set it down next to Izzat. I sit down and we sit there in silence, but not a awkward silence, it was more like a ceremonial silence. His hands was dangling between his legs. We stare in each other's eyes, in a friendly manner. His eyes were filled with sadness and was rimmed with dullness but he was smiling. I couldn't believe he was depressed I didn't even noticed. He was still wearing the bandages around his upper body, kind of like a multiple layer cotton shirt. There was blotches of dried blood on the bandages everywhere, his arms and chest. He looked like he was truly happy, like his true self broke out of the cage of sadness like he explained, but he can never completely escape it.

"Did you ever noticed?" he says to me, breaking the silence. I was lost in thought and had to shake my head to break out of it. He smirks at me.

"Never. You always seemed so happy and you always make jokes, so I never expected anything." I admit to him. He just nods.

"It's fine. Maybe I am a better actor than Finn freaking Wolfhard." I smile at his comment.

"Are you happy?" I blurt out of nowhere. He sighs and looks at the ceiling for a little while before answering.

"I mean, yeah. Once I told you about my problems, I feel like the weight off my shoulders vanished. I never truly felt this happy in my life. I always get nightmares and can almost never get sleep. That's why I always use sleeping pills. Plus, I could hang out with the most beautiful girl ever." My eyes starts to widen and he notices. He laughs at me for some reason.

"Not you! I was talking about Emmy. Don't feel so important." Blush crept upon my cheeks when I realized it. I look down at my feet.

"It's fine, Millie. Although, a little narcissistic I must say." I look back at him and smile.

"Did she actually kiss you?"

"What? You don't believe me?" he puts his hand to his heart with fake hurt.

"I. Want. Details." I demanded.

"Hmm, " he does the famous 'The Thinker' pose, "I don't know... you never tell me about your secret make-out sessions with Finn..." I punch him in the arm, but not too hard.

"Ow. It's still sore. Fine. I was walking her back to her hotel and when I reached there, I said goodbye and was about to leave. But then she called me. When I turned around, she pulled me closer to her by my collar and pulled me into a kiss." he looks at me bashfully.

"Wow. Is her lips dry and weird?" Why did I say that? Millie, you seriously need to think before you speak.

"Actually, it was perfect," he answered anyways, "a lot better than you actually." he smirks at me.

"So are you guys a couple now?" he looks up at the ceiling again.

"Honestly, I don't know. I know I have feelings for her but I'm not sure if she feels the exact same way." I roll my eyes at him.

"Seriously? She kissed you. How could she not like you?" he seemed to relax a bit because his posture slumps down a little.

"How can I really tell?" I roll my eyes at him again. "Hey, Millie. If you keep rolling your eyes, it might keep rolling forever." I was about to roll my eyes again but I stopped myself.

"Okay, Izzat, I need to tell you something. At the pool, Emmy said that she has feelings for you but she doesn't know if you feel the same way. So just go for it. I can see how head-over-heels she is over you. She always steal glances at you. And when you held her hand in the elevator, I could see all the stress and worry melt off." He still looks unconvinced.

"Do you know what? I'll do it for you. I'll talk to Emmy alone tomorrow because you're a pussy and I'm you're friend." I suggest to him. He smiles wanly at me.

"Thanks."

We talk a little bit more before he yawns loudly. I yawn back.

"Well, I think it's getting late. Thanks for the talk." he says to me.

"Yeah, it was such an eventful day. I can't believe we went to the pool today." he nods his head in agreement.

"Well, goodnight."

"Goodnight to you as well." I say and head to his door. I was about to walk out before Izzat called me at the last second.

"Millie! Wait!" I turn back to see him scrounging through one of his bags. He finally gets something in his hand and heads to me. He puts something in the palm of my mind. A container of sleeping pills.

"I don't need them anymore. I think you should keep it if I decided to overdose." he smiles at me. I smile back.

I pocket the container and say goodnight one more time. I tip-toe back to my room because it was pretty late and I didn't want to wake anyone up. I swipe my card on the scanner and slowly open the door. My mom  was already passed out on her bed. I tip-toed slowly to my bed and collapsed on top of it. Today was pretty hectic. Finn and I had a short break-up. Izzat got his ass kicked. I founded out my best friend had depression. I helped Izzat go through what he was suffering and help him into a love life. But what I realized was that tomorrow was the second-last day of being in New York.

Better spend as much time as possible with my friends.
