Tris' Pov:
once we get to art everyone is already sitting down and working on a project.
"Why hello, it is very nice for you to join us Four, Christina, and I'm guessing the new girl Beatrice." Ms. Wu greets us
"It is actually just Tris, and I'm truly sorry Ms. Wu I was tripped in the hallway and got a bloody nose so we had to go see Mrs. Paine to see if it was broken or not." I say in all one breath.
"Please just call me Tori and since you got tripped I Will let you slide find a seat and do whatever you want." Ms. Wu- I mean Tori said smiling.
"Thanks Tori." i said returning the smile.

Time Lapse to History

When Four and I get into history I see my old neighbor Marcus Eaton is our teacher. 'oh no what am i going to do if I ever screw up in class that will get me in trouble because he will call my dad then i will get extra punches at night.' I think to myself as i find my seat.
""Well class it looks like we have a new student today. Please introduce yourself." Marcus says.
" Hi everyone I'm Tris." I say while standing up then sitting down while watching Marcus smirk.
"Okay today class today we will be learning-" and that is all I hear because I space out because I am thinking about Marcus and how he used to have a son who was my bestfriend when we were younger. I remember once we were in my tree house talking. (A/N bold is Tris.)
'Toby whats wrong you seem hurt.'
'Bea can you keep my biggest secret?'
'Of course Toby you can always trust me.'
'Well my father beats me every night after dinner.' he said almost crying.
Me and him have the same problem and I told him about my father beating me too last week.
'Oh my goodness how could he do that to you, you are his son and is one of the best people i have ever met.'
'Thanks Bea just promise me you wont tell anyone. Especially your parents.'
'Okay I promise'
'Thank you Bea you are the best and I hope someday we will be more than friends. I love you' he says before kissing my cheek.
' I love you too Toby and I hope we also become more than just friends one day' I say looking into his beautiful deep blue eyes.
'Tobias time to leave' Marcus yells up to the tree house.
'Coming dad, bye Bea love you.'
'Love you too Toby'
That was the last time I saw Toby. My Toby who was stolen from me.
When i come back to the real world I notice I'm crying so i quickly wipe my tears and look up.
"Are you okay?" Four asks me with worry in his eyes. He probably saw me crying.
"Yeah i was just thinking about my old best friend and how he moved before I could say goodbye and that I loved him, and always would." I say looking into his eyes which are the same deep blue as Toby's eyes.
