Alex just left the restaurant. And to top it off I was so embarrassed seeing as the waiter was still hovering over me.

"Um, so just the pepperoni pizza then?" He asked.

"Yes, sorry thanks," I said, with my head bowed down.

The waiter left after what seemed like forever and I was thankful.

Why the hell did he leave? Stupid me, thinking we were friends and all. Clearly not. He is so stubborn! I wouldn't dare do that to someone who I had only known for a day! Alex must have some sort of problem with me. Dick.

The waiter came out of the kitchen and made his way towards me.

"It's on the house, sorry if I disturbed you earlier," The waiter said to me. I was flattered!

"Oh my god, thank you. But it's okay you kno-" I was cut off.

"No no, seriously it's fine, don't worry about it sugar," He spoke softly, I just nodded and he walked away.

Sugar? Okay then.

I dug into my pepperoni pizza, and it really was nice. Good thing I don't have to pay, as Alex told me he would. I looked at the prices and saw it was expensive, and my purse did not contain that amount of money.

After I had finished eating my pizza, the waiter told me I could just leave as I didn't have to pay, which was extremely sweet of him. I walked into the lot and got into my car.

I began the descent home, with the radio playing softly in the background. When I pulled up to the apartments, I was ready to slap Alex across the face; not literally of course.

I stormed out my car and marched towards the reception revolving doors. I look to the reception desk, and he wasn't there.

"Hey, where's Alex?" I asked the reception lady on the desk, and her name tag read Melissa.

"He's went home, he said he had something to do," Thanks Melissa, great information.

"Okay, well tell him when he's back here, to go and talk to Sky," I said, angrily.

"Your Sky I'm guessing? I've heard about you," She smirked, what?

"Hey yeah, I'm Sky. How have you heard about me?"

"Oh right, well my friend Vic was talking about you,"

Vic. That name rings a bell? The text! The guy that Alex is all shady about!

"I actually haven't met Vic, who is he?" I asked, trying to find more information out of the open Melissa.

"Oh I know you haven't met him. He's my flat mate and Alex came round last night and was shouting at him, happens all the time," Melissa said cooly.

Confused was an understatement.

"What? Why does he shout at him?" I was utterly so confused and baffled.

"Oh gosh, such a long story, here," she pulled out her phone and wrote her number on a slip of paper.

"Next week or something, I'm going to a party and I can bring along someone, you can be that someone and I can tell you everything," She finished saying.

"But I hardly know you?" I asked questionable.

"And if you come, we can get to know each other, here take my number and I will text you the details, bye Sky hun,"

"Bye, um Melissa," I waved her off and took the little slip of paper with her number written on it.

Why was everyone so friendly and open? I certainly wouldn't invite someone who I literally just met to a strangers party, but I want to find out answers, so I will most likely end up going.
